Hey @ALAK , if i not mistaken CTA Child Driver is a driver component that handles specific data transfer tasks or manages specific hardware components, operating as a subordinate part of a larger driver system.

I think it is better to leave it enabled.

Hello ALAK,

Thank you for posting in Intel community Forum.

Intel CTA (Converged Telemetry Architecture) is a methodology to expose platform telemetry in a standard Intel way. The name has since been changed to Intel Platform Monitoring Technology (PMT). Intel PMT device provides a way for SW to discover and enumerate telemetry data.

You can find the full PMT External Specification at: Intel® Platform Monitoring Technology (Intel® PMT) - External Specification

In short, this technology provides a unified framework for getting telemetry from Intel components (CPU, PCH, GPU, etc.), aggregating it and reporting it in a standardized way. This telemetry data then can be accessed by apps design for displaying telemetry (such as Arc Control or HwInfo)
