Hi Nakib,
Thank you for posting in the Community!
I would like to clarify some things in order for me to isolate the issue:
- Clean Installation: Have you tried performing a clean installation of the driver (32.0.101.6559 (WHQL Certified)) using a tool like Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) before installing the new driver? If no, follow the steps here:
How to Use the Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to Uninstall an...
Clean Installation of Intel® Graphics Drivers in Windows*
Intel® Arc™ & Iris® Xe Graphics - Windows*
- System Configuration: Are there any other recent changes to your system, such as Windows updates or new software installations, that coincided with the driver update?
- Error Messages: Are there any specific error messages or logs from OBS or other applications that might give more insight into the encoder issue?
I kindly request that you download the Intel® System Support Utility for Windows* software.
You can find the download link here:

- Here's a quick guide on using the Intel SSU:
- Download and launch SSU.exe.
- Check the box for "Everything."
- When the scanning is complete, click "Next."
- Click "Save."

Hi Nakib,
To help me investigate further and find a solution, could you please provide the following details:
- What version of OBS are you currently using?
- Can you specify the most recent graphics driver version that worked without any problems?
- Besides version 32.0.101.6559, which other graphics driver version is causing the issue?
Best regards,
Dean R.

I have the same problem with missing hardware encoders in OBS 31.0.1 after updating to driver 32.0.101.6559 from driver
32.0.101.6557/32.0.101.6262 on arc B570. Reverting to the older driver fixes the issue for me.

Hi Nakib,
This is well noted. I also wanted to let you know that this issue is currently being addressed and will be resolved with upcoming driver updates. However, I don't have an exact timeline for the fix at the moment.
Hi JD22,
This is also noted as well, kindly wait for the fix as this issue is currently being addressed and I suggest creating a new thread for your concern to avoid further confusions.

Hi Nakib,
Could you please help me by running OBS with administrative rights to see if it resolves the issue? This step might help identify any permission-related problems. Additionally, I need to gather more information to further investigate the issue. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Hi Nakib,
You may try my previous recommendation with OBS admin rights since @Jachia tried the following steps and it worked. Let me know if the issue still persists afterwards.
Best regards,
Dean R.
