I'm unsure of exactly when this happened, but my Intel Graphics Software installation stopped opening. I tried to reinstall the drivers and continue to experience the same issue where the drivers are installed successfully but Intel Graphics Software does not get installed. I have tried running the installer normally, used DDU to remove the drivers, and ran the installer as administrator but am unsure of what other steps to take.
I am using an Intel Arc A770 16Gb. I previously had Intel Graphics Software installed, and before that had Intel Arc Control Panel. I haven't experienced this issue in the past.

Thank you for raising this issue with us. For me to help you with this concern, kindly answer some of my questions below for me to better understand the issue you are facing and to provide you the best course of action.
- What is the graphics driver version currently installed?
- Where did you get the driver version currently installed in your system? Is it from IGS or from the Arc website?
And to further assist you, I kindly request that you download and execute the Intel System Support Utility (SSU) in order to provide me with a complete system specification, which will enable me to assist you in reviewing your system information.
When the download is complete, launch SSU.exe.
1. Scan: Check the box Everything.
2. Click Scan.
3. Review: When finished scanning, click Next.
4. Click Save.

1. I currently have version 32.0.101.6559 installed, though the issue seemed to have started when I had the previous version, 32.0.101.6557, installed.
2. The current version I have installed came from the Intel Driver & Support Assistant

Thank you for providing the SSU, and upon checking the system information of your computer, the graphics are up to date. For us to troubleshoot this issue, let's start with the clean installation, so to do that, kindly follow the steps below:
- Open the Device Manager using the steps provided for your operating system:
- Windows 11*/10*/8.1*: Right-click the Windows Start button. Select Device Manager.
- Windows 7*: Click Windows Start, click Run, type: devmgmt.ms
- Expand the Display adapters section.
- Identify the Intel Graphics device among the options listed.
- Access Download Center, search for the Intel® Graphics model identified in step 3 using the Search box located in the top-right corner.
- Select the driver from the list that is designated for the operating system (Windows 11/10, 8.1, or 7).
- Download the .exe file.
Execute a Clean Installation During Driver Installation
- Click the .exe to initiate the driver installation.
- Agree to the Intel Software License Agreement.
- Click the checkbox to Execute a clean installation.
A clean installation removes all old drivers and restores Intel settings to the default value
- Click Start to begin the install.
- Reboot the system if prompted.
If the above method cannot resolve the issue, try to use Display Driver Uninstaller to uninstall the graphics driver first, refer to:

I have tried both methods (with and without uninstalling via DDU) and am getting the same result. The installer says that the Intel Graphics Driver and Intel Graphics Command Center will be installed, then when finished shows that only the Intel Graphics Driver was installed.

Thank you for patiently waiting. As a workaround, you can manually install the Intel Graphics Software from the driver package:
- If you don't have it already, install 7zip or a similar file archiver/compressor software to unzip the installer package.
- Right-click on the installer file and open it on your file archiver/compressor.
- Go to the Resources/Extras folder.
- Extract Intel Graphics Software installer
- Double-click on the extracted installer to install the software.

Thank you, this did work! The first time the installer ran, the only option was to uninstall the application. I uninstalled it via that installer, and then reinstalled the application through the same installer. It now appears to be working properly, thank you again
