Intel graphics driver is not updating, shows error whenever I try

Whenever I try to update my driver for Intel UHD Graphics 730, I get error code 0x8000847B (-2147449733). Moreover, recently I have been getting endless freezes and stuttering that also come with glitchy audio retriggering and multicoloured display flashing. Is there anything that I can do, or is it time to ditch my current Intel CPU with integrated graphics? Error message shown in attachments, I have tried downloading the driver update with both the DSA and downloading it manually.

I recommend performing a clean installation of the latest driver version 32.0.101.6972. You can download the driver from the following link: Intel UHD Graphics 730 Driver.


Download and Install Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU):

  • You can find DDU here: DDU Download.
  • Follow the instructions to safely uninstall your current graphics driver.

Perform Clean Installation:

  • After uninstalling the current driver using DDU, install the latest driver version 32.0.101.6972.


Additionally, could you let me know if your system was working correctly before these issues started? This information will help us understand if there might be other underlying factors.

Sorry, but I have tried to uninstall the driver and reinstall the newest driver but it still refuses to work. It still returns the same error, is there anything else that I can do?
