Last of us 2 on intel iris xe bad rendering

hi, i just installed the lastest driver available ( 32.0.101.6739 ) an The Last of us part2, still has the rendering problem i stated in a discussion almost 3 weeks ago. I am using an 11th generation I5 processor, have 24 gbs of Ram, and have Intel Iris xe as intergrated graphics. The game runs on the similar spec integrated graphics amd cards.
I will share an image with this mail so you can see, it is the same that happens in the new Spider-Man 2 video game (which is also a port by Nixxes and Playstation).
Hope you can fix it, as you did with the The Last of Us part 1 on pc, which I enjoyed too much thanks to my humble setup.
I dont believe the game is too badly optimized because it´s running on handhelds pc (that runs with integrated graphics).
And to mention, i can run God of War Ragnarok, Red Dead Redemption 2 and Spiderman Remastered smoothly (for this setting is aprox in the 30fps). My laptop also runs Uncharted 4, and lastly The Last of Us Part 1. Soooo, if you guys can give the low spec faithful iris xe players a hand, we will be grateful.
The game looks exactly like this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9isFjc-gl9Y&ab_channel=VITO
i´m fully aware of a pop up message in the launcher saying the my gpu is not supported. I know the minimun specs (
Minimum (720p Low @ 30 FPS)

Processor: Intel Core i3-8100 or AMD Ryzen 3 1300X
Memory: 16 GB
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 (4GB) or AMD Radeon RX 5500 XT (4GB)
Storage: 150 GB SSD space
OS: Windows 10/11 (1909 or higher)

But this doesn´t change the fact that the problem isn´t that, the problem is within the drivers of Iris Xe and the games Nixxes Studios ports from ps4 and ps5, basing this on the fact that similar specs AMD integrated graphics (which are not in the minimum specs too) are running the game, without the rendering black and red screen problem.
For this I ask, if you can see if the DEVS can solve this driver problem so we Iris XE players can enjoy this game. There are many discussions about Spiderman 2 and the same problem on intel forums (please look into it).
I have already answer this questions:
What is the exact model of your laptop?
1. ASUS X515 EA-INTEL I5 11TH GENERATION- IRIS XE- 24 GB RAM
Have you tried using the OEM driver for testing?
2. I have
Have you used DDU to completely remove all residual drivers and installed a new one?
3. I have completely removed the old driver and install the new one, check the bios update, and the windows update.
Could you provide a screenshot of your in-game display and graphics settings?
4. All set to the minimun posible (Very Low), with IrisXee re-scalator set in balanced, fsr on, vsync on.
Which gaming platform did you use to download the game?
5. I buy it and download it from steam.
Also thanks to the community of iris xe players we came with this video Look at this https://youtu.be/_rr4mB73QWE?feature=shared.Seems
This old driver fixes the problem with the game, it might help you get into a developing and updated driver that help us ( the driver where the red and black glitch is fixed: 31.0.101.3222. Nonetheless it´s old and unstable (does not support fsr and frame generation) and the game crashes after a minute or two of gaming. Hope that this can help you guys figure out what is wrong and develop a new driver that performs well and fixes the red and black glitch in the game.)
Lastly, the game can run between 20-30 fps on high contrast mode (activated on accessibility options) which proves the point of the game running and this being definitely a driver problem.
I share multiple screenshots of my computer showing how the game looks with the bug, the settings of the game, the old driver(31.0.101.3222) that "fixes" the colors but its unstable, the high contrast mode and the Ssu of my computer.

Hope you can answer soon

Hi, rafay19.

Thank you for posting in our Community and for taking the time to thoroughly explain your experience. Your point is well made, and the fact that older driver version 31.0.101.3222 mitigates the red and black screen issue (despite stability limitations) is an important data point. Your comparison to other titles like God of War, Uncharted 4, and The Last of Us Part I running successfully on your Iris Xe system further supports the case that this may be a specific driver optimization issue with recent PlayStation-to-PC ports from Nixxes.

I'd like to delve deeper and verify specifics like the graphics models, precise driver versions, and any system errors. Utilizing the Intel SSU tool will enable me to collect detailed information about your system setup, which could aid in identifying the underlying cause of this issue. For your privacy and security, I have already sent you an email to collect the SSU reports. Once I receive the logs, I can investigate further and provide better assistance

Have a nice day!

Since I told that the red issue still is there and not any fix yet so I revert the driver to the old one and it did worked the red issue is gone but as that driver is old so the game crashes after 5 min so that means it's not specs issue becuz that game works on 30 fps around better than last of us 1 and many of yall from the team saying same thing that it doesn't meet minimum requirements but how can it run so well on old driver 101.3222_101.2111 and there's the link of that game running on the same old driver https://youtu.be/bBMuMGUZKPc?si=9_lA1Xyc6CFh5QHZ so please do something on this

Hello, rafay19.

Thank you for your detailed feedback and for sharing your experience with the driver versions. I understand that reverting to the older driver resolved the red issue but caused stability problems with crashes, which clearly indicates that this is not a hardware specification issue. Your point about the game running smoothly on the older driver despite not meeting the supposed minimum requirements is well taken.

However, as mentioned earlier, I may need to review your Intel SSU logs to gather more detailed information about your system configuration. This will greatly assist in identifying the root cause of the issue. For your privacy and security, I have already resent you an email requesting the SSU reports. Once I receive the logs, I will be able to conduct a more thorough investigation and provide you with more effective support.

Hello, rafay19.

Thank you for sharing your SSU logs. I'd like to inform you that a new graphics driver is now available: version 32.0.101.6876. This is the latest release and includes several stability and compatibility improvements that may directly address the issues you've been experiencing, including the persistent red rendering problem.

I strongly recommend updating to this version and testing the game again to see if the rendering issues have been resolved. Please let us know the outcome after you've had a chance to try it. Your findings will be invaluable as we continue to monitor and refine performance for this title.

Hello, rafay19, and @PepoIRISXEl29 (original creator of this post).

Thank you for your patience while we reviewed your concern with The Last of Us Part II. We’ve reviewed your case and would like to inform you that this issue has been previously reported and investigated in detail. Based on our findings, the game requires a discrete graphics card to deliver optimal gameplay performance and graphics quality. Unfortunately, Intel® Iris® Xe graphics are not fully supported for this title, which may result in performance limitations or instability. I understand this may not be ideal, and I truly appreciate your understanding. If you would still like us to re-investigate, please note that this issue has already been thoroughly analyzed, and the conclusion remains unchanged.

In the meantime, I will now be closing this case. If you need further assistance, please submit a new question as this thread will no longer be monitored.

Best regards,
