GPU: B580
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600X
On my system, the Steam version of Rocket League has a low GPU power draw and framerate, it even occasionally crashes with a blue screen. The Epic version runs completely fine though, much higher fps, normal power draw and no crashes.
In the Intel Graphics Software, the Steam version of Rocket League wasn't automatically added as a profile, only the Epic version. Manual scanning doesn't make it appear either. However, I don't know if this is related to the issue.
Before the recent driver update, the Steam version ran normally. So I tried to uninstall the driver via DDU and use an older driver but that didn't fix the issue.
Many thanks in advance.

Hi dodi,
To further pinpoint the issue, I need to gather additional information. Kindly provide the following and perform these steps:
- Do you recall the graphics driver version that was installed when the Rocket League Steam version was working fine?
- Have you tried reinstalling the Rocket League Steam version to see if it resolves the issue?
- If the issue persists, please share the CapFrameX results for both the EPIC and Steam versions. Ensure the game is played for a minimum of 2 minutes so we can analyze it further.
- Are there specific maps where the low FPS is noticeable? If so, which ones?
Your responses will help us in diagnosing the problem more effectively.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Warm regards,
Randy T.

Hi Randy,
I do not remember my previous driver version exactly, although, I always tried to be up to date whenever a new one released, so it should be: 32.0.101.6632
I have tried reinstalling the game before posting my problem here.
I have attached the CapFrameX files, but I will also share them via e-mail with you in case there will be another problem with the accessibility.
The problem persists throughout the entire game from the main menu to the actual gameplay, there is no particular map that causes any problems.
Thanks for your help.
Best regards,
dodi

Hi @dodi
I wanted to provide you with an update regarding the performance testing conducted using our Intel® Arc™ B580 Graphics, based on the game settings you provided.
The game on Epic settings using graphics driver versions 32.0.101.6651, 32.0.101.6653, and the latest version 32.0.101.6734. I am pleased to inform you that we achieved high FPS rates during the testing. The average FPS recorded was 327, with a low of 210, which is significantly higher than the average FPS of 160 you reported on Epic settings.
Additionally, we attempted to locate the game on Steam, but it appears to be currently "unlisted" in the Steam store.
To further assist you, I kindly ask you to:
- Explain how he installed Rocket League on Steam. Did he use the manual "Add a game" option, similar to this [https://help.steampowered.com/en/faqs/view/4B8B-9697-2338-40EC]?
- Try setting the "Frames per second" to "uncapped," as we noticed in the screenshot, you provided that it is capped at "164 FPS (Recommended)." This option was not available during our test. Then, check if there is any improvement in FPS performance.
Please see simulation result below. I look forward to your response.
Warm regards,
Randy T.

Hi Randy,
thank you for your update on my problem.
Regarding your first request to me: I acquired the game on Steam back in 2018, before the game developers sold their soul to Epic Games, who made the game exclusive to their launcher. I am afraid You would have to get access to a Steam account, that paid for the game before September 23rd in 2020.
For your second request: I am certain I will achieve much higher FPS if i set the settings to "uncapped", but I am not trying to. My monitor is on 164Hz, so more FPS would only draw excess power. Really, my only concern is the performance discrepancy between the Steam and the Epic Games version after installing the new driver.
Best regards,
dodi

Hi @dodi,
So, it means that you only observed this issue after the graphics driver update and our recommendation to set the FPS to uncapped may cause higher power consumption. I will check internally again to see if we can provide alternative steps to address your concern or if there is a need for improvements or fixes in the driver. Thank you for your patience. I will look further into this issue and appreciate your response and patience.
Warm regards,
Randy T.

Hi @dodi,
Thank you for your patience as we investigated the issue you reported. We wanted to provide you with an update based on our findings.
Unfortunately, since the game is no longer available on Steam due to the publisher unlisting that version, our ability to address issues related to it is limited. We understand this may be inconvenient, and we sincerely apologize for any disruption this may cause.
If the problem does not occur with the Epic Store version of the game, we encourage you to use that version, as we can only work on games that are currently accessible. We have also attempted to replicate the issue using the Epic version on our end to ensure a smooth experience.
With that, I will proceed with closing this case. If you need further assistance, please submit a new question, as this thread will no longer be monitored.
Warm regards,
Randy T.
