The gundam battle operation 2 causes a complete system freeze and crash when attempting to load into a match on Intel Arc B-Series intel B580 GPUs. This issue affects the entire PC, leading to an unresponsive system, rather than just the game application crashing.

1. Graphics Driver Information:

  • Latest WHQL Driver Tested: Graphics Driver Driver 32.0.101.6989 (WHQL Certified).

  • Previous Driver Tested: Graphics Driver  The exact same freezing and crashing behavior occurred with this driver version as well.

  • Clean Driver Installation: Performed A clean driver installation using DDU.

2. Game Information:

  • Game Name:

Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation 2

  • Where to Obtain: [Steam]

3. System Information:

  • Manual System Information:

    • Processor Make and Model: Ryzen 5 5600G

    • Motherboard Make and Model: B550M PRO

    • Amount of Memory (RAM): 16GB DDR4 3200MHz

    • Graphics Card: Intel Arc B580 16GB

    • Operating System Version/Build Number: Microsoft Windows 11 Home, Version 10.0.26100 Build 26100

    • Power Supply Make and Model: 650W PSU

4. Steps to Reproduce the Issue:

  1. Launch the Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation 2

    Open  application.
  2. Navigate to the multiplayer section.

  3. Attempt to load into any multiplayer match.

  4. The system will completely freeze and become unresponsive during the loading screen before entering the match. A hard reboot is required to regain control of the PC.

Hopefully this gets fixed soon enough since the beta only lasts few days.

Hello katun,

Thank you for reaching out and providing detailed information about the issues you're experiencing with your Intel Arc B580 GPU while playing Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation 2. I understand how frustrating it can be to deal with system freezes and crashes, especially during a limited beta period, and I'm here to assist you in resolving this matter.

I suggest trying the integrated GPU of your processor and let me know if the crashing still persists.

Best regards,
