Hello,
I installed an A380 as a second GPU to get AV1 encoding and to offload the rendering for my second monitor. I am unable to select the arc gpu in the Windows graphics setting as a low power option so browsers and the monitor / desktop connected to the arc card can be rendered on that GPU . If I only connect to the a380, the a380 shows as both low and high power option. If I connect both monitors to the AMD card, the 6700xt shows for both rendering options and the a380 is absent. With monitors crossed between the two gpus, I only see the 6700xt in the graphics settings. Any suggestions on how to get the arc to show as an option? Ideally I would like my main monitor connected to the AMD card to render the games (high performance) but the arc card to render the desktops since the intel video hardware decoders are better.
I tried steps laid out in https://community.intel.com/t5/Intel-ARC-Graphics/ARC-GPU-not-appearing-as-a-second-GPU-in-windows-power-manager/m-p/1472406 to no success. Switching the GPU slots did not fix the issue, and i would like to avoid that anyways since the lower slot has worse airflow and is only electrically PCIe x4
System:
Ryzen 5800x3d, 32gb ram, seasonic 1000w
Board: ASrock x570m Pro4 p5.61 (latest non-beta)
Windows 10 22h2
GPU1 AMD 6700xt driver 24.8.1 WHQL
GPU2 Arc a380 (asrock) driver 31.0.101.5594 WHQL

Hi Beamerbolide,
Thank you for posting in Intel Communities.
It seems you cannot take advantage of having two graphics cards. I will work with you to find a solution to your issue.
Please allow me to ask the following questions, as I will your answers to come up with viable suggestions:
1. You mentioned that you tried connecting a display to both your GPUs. Did the ARC one output a black screen, or were you getting a display on it?
2. Some boards have BIOS settings, where it lets you set the primary display and the secondary. To check, it would really help us if we can get more information about your system. Please download and run our Intel® System Support Utility from this page. To run it, please press "Scan". After the scan is finished, click next and there will be a save button, giving you an option to save the logs to a text file, please do so and attach the file on your reply. You can refer to How to get the Intel® System Support Utility Logs on Windows* for instructions.
3. Kindly provide a screenshot of the two graphics items in device manager?
Looking forward to your reply.
