I have bought a new pc. processor AMD 5600 + Arc A750. Mother ASUS PRIME A520M-A II DDR4.
i have updated all drivers. Problem is i am only getting 85Hz, also not showing the option for 100Hz. But while the pc and monitor is turned on, when i unplug the HDMI cable from monitor and plug it back then the monitor shows 100Hz. But when i restart the PC it gets back to 85Hz. in fact after make it 100Hz i tried to play euro truck simulator, when i select 100 fps the game crashes with along the display driver, after that it again gets back to 85Hz and 100hz option disappears. Another problem is all of a sudden from display adapter properties >Monitor, select refresh rate option has gone ! I don't know rather it's display issue, HDMI cable issue (20276 Cable), driver issue or graphics card issue. please help me to solve me this problem. it is very much frustrating to not having that 100Hz while my monitor supports it.

Hello zahidzi777,
Thanks for posting in the community! It seems like this issue might be related to a hardware configuration. Let's dig deeper into your concerns. Could you please answer the following questions:
- What resolution is your monitor set to?
- Are you using the display cable that came with your monitor?
- Have you tried using a DisplayPort cable for testing?
- Do you know the version of your display cable (e.g., HDMI 2.1, 2.0, 1.4)?
- What is the current graphics driver installed on your system?
- Have you tried using an older version of the graphics driver?
Your answers will help us better understand the issue and find a solution.
Best regards,
Dhanniel M.

1920 x 1080 @ 100Hz
1 x DisplayPort 1.4a
1 x HDMI 2.0b
VESA AdaptiveSync
It happens that modes are not offered for selection by the driver when the available video bandwidth is exceeded. But that is not the case here.
1920 x 1080 @ 100 Hz CVT-RB = 39% HDMI 2.0b = 33% HBR2
The monitor sends its capabilities to the graphics driver. In this case, the highest modes within the EDID are transmitted in the CTA-861 data block as Detailed Timing Descriptors (DTDs):
So it seems to me that Intel graphics drivers have problems with video timings that deviate from the major standards (here CVT-RB, the deviations are marked in yellow above). But that shouldn't be the case because that's exactly what the DTDs are for. Hot Plug Detection (HPD) seems to influence the problem.
@ Intel Graphics Team: EDID attached.
@ zahidzi777: Does the problem also occur when connecting with a DisplayPort cable?

Yes facing the same issue with DP cable also. But there is another thing i have found is, i have tried my friends monitor which is "Walton WD215I10" Full HD 100Hz product Link: https://eplaza.waltonbd.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=240_374&product_id=6884 . This monitor works fine and gets 100Hz properly. I have also checked my monitor at customer care they didn't found any problem and showed 100Hz, still they have changed my monitor and gave me a new one (Same Model). I think this might be intel graphics driver issue, because i have checked everything possible, changed cable, installed new windows, updated all drivers to it's latest. but still didn't get any solution.

Hello zahidzi777,
Thank you for providing the answers. I would like to suggest rolling back the graphics driver for testing purposes. This will help us determine if the issue persists with previous driver versions. Could you please install driver versions 101.6460, 101.6458, and 101.6449? When installing, please select the "Custom" installation option and ensure the "Clean Installation" checkbox is checked.
Additionally, thank you for the detailed explanation, @MUC. I will make sure to take note of it. Then after doing this if the issue still exist on those three drivers, I will investigate this along witht the EDID that @MUC have provided.
Best regards,
Dhanniel M.

Hi zahidzi777,
I hope this message finds you well. Before I proceed with further investigation into the issue, I wanted to check if you had a chance to review my previous recommendation. Specifically, I suggested testing the issue with the following driver version to see if it persists. If none of the drivers have resolved the problem, could you please try updating to the latest driver version (101.6559)? Additionally, I recommend using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) in safe mode to completely remove the previous driver.
For your convenience, here are the steps to use DDU:
- Download Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU)< software and extract the file.
- Open DDU ****.exe and run extract program.
- Reboot into Windows* safe mode. (Refer to Start your PC in safe mode in Windows.)
- Go to the DDU extract path and double-click the Display Driver Uninstaller.exe to open DDU.
- Click Close in the Options window.
- Select device type to GPU and select device to INTEL.
- Click Clean and restart or Clean and Shutdown depending on your needs
- Wait the software to finish the process and auto reboot Windows to the normal mode or shutdown.
Best regards,
Dhanniel M.
