Hi everyone — I’m planning a tight-budget build for gaming and productivity (coding, browsing, multitasking, Android Studio, Docker). My planned CPU/GPU combo is AMD Ryzen 7 5700X + Intel Arc A750. I’ve read some worrying reports about Intel Arc cards and want to know from real users what to expect.

Could you please help by answering any of the questions below?

  1. 1080p gaming experience: With the A750, are modern games smooth at 1080p on mostly high/medium settings? Any specific titles where it performs particularly well or poorly?

  2. Thermals: Have you experienced high temperatures on the A750? If so, what are typical idle/load temps and did driver updates or cooling changes help?

  3. Stuttering / FPS drops / microstutter: Have you faced persistent stuttering, frame drops, or tearing with Arc cards? Did any fixes (drivers, OS settings, game settings) solve these problems?

  4. Driver stability: Which driver version(s) have been most stable for you? Any recommended driver settings or rollbacks to avoid issues?

  5. CPU pairing / overhead: Does the Ryzen 7 5700X pair well with the A750, or do you recommend a different CPU to avoid CPU-side overhead or bottlenecks?

  6. Power & PSU: What PSU wattage/brand have you used with the A750? Any power-related quirks to watch for?

  7. Encoding / productivity tasks: How is Arc for tasks like video encoding, Android Studio workloads, and compute tasks (OpenCL/oneAPI)? Any driver limitations to be aware of?
