Roblox Graphics Breaking and not working properly

I’m having ongoing compatibility problems with Roblox on my Intel Arc GPU, and I’d like to know if there’s any official workaround or fix in progress.

System details:

  • GPU: Intel Arc Graphics Card 128 MB Intel(R) Arc(TM) 130V GPU (8GB)

  • OS: Windows 11

  • Game: Roblox

  • When graphics mode is set to Automatic, it instantly switches to Manual and ignores auto settings.

  • Lighting is inconsistent Shaders often break or behave incorrectly.

What I’ve already tried a clean Driver Installation.

Despite all this, the issue persists. Roblox’s automatic graphics detection and shader behavior don’t seem to work properly on Intel Arc.

Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Below you can see how different it is when playing on windows and on my phone.

Hi TinaTutu,

Thank you for reaching out about the Roblox graphics compatibility issues you're experiencing with your Intel Arc 130V GPU. I can see from your screenshots and video that there are significant visual differences between your PC and phone gameplay, with lighting and shader problems on the PC version.

I'd like to help you resolve this issue. Please try the following steps:

Driver Update: Please update to the latest Intel graphics driver version 32.0.101.8136:

Perform a clean driver installation using DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) before installing the new driver to ensure no conflicting files remain.

Could you please provide an Intel SSU report for detailed system analysis?

If you're not comfortable sharing the SSU report, please provide your exact laptop model.

Additional Questions:

  1. Was Roblox working properly before these issues started? If so, when did the problems first begin?
  2. Do the graphics issues occur in all Roblox games, or only specific ones?
  3. Are there particular scenarios or settings that consistently trigger the visual problems?

This information will help me provide more targeted assistance for your Roblox compatibility issue.

Best regards,

hello,

Thank You for reaching out.

i did a clean driver installation yesterday using the intel driver support & Assistant. the version i currently have is Intel® Arc™ Graphics Driver 32.0.101.6647. I’d like to share my SSU report, but I’m a bit concerned since this is a public post. Is there a secure or private way to provide it?

Laptop Model: 750QHA

1. When i first bought this laptop I tried to play in the roblox web player as i always do in my previous devices, but i had this graphic problem so i switched to the Microsoft roblox app. But recently roblox has removed the app version and moved it as a player into Xbox which has the same issue.

2. It affects the whole roblox player when i scroll down the roblox player, in games when i move the screen.

3. i didnt find any particular thing trigerring this issue.

Each time I join a game, the visuals load normally at first, but within a few seconds they switch back to the broken graphics state.

Also i can remove the glitch issue when i change the player's compatibility settings, but it doesn't fix the graphic issue.

Hi TinaTutu,

Thank you for your detailed response and for performing the clean driver installation using Intel Driver Support & Assistant.

I notice you're currently running driver version 32.0.101.6647, which is an older version. I'd recommend updating to the latest driver version 32.0.101.8136 as this may resolve the Roblox graphics compatibility issues you're experiencing.

Yes, absolutely! You can email the SSU report to me privately instead of posting it publicly. This will keep your system information secure while allowing me to analyze your configuration.

Could you also include a short video clip or additional screenshots showing the graphics issue in your email? This visual documentation will help me better understand the specific rendering problems you're experiencing.

This pattern suggests a driver compatibility issue with your Intel Arc 130V GPU and Roblox's graphics rendering.

  1. Please update to driver version 32.0.101.8136 using DDU clean installation
  2. Email me your SSU report and a video clip of the issue privately for detailed analysis
  3. Test Roblox after the driver update and let me know if the graphics issues persist

Hi Dean,

Thank you for your guidance. I’ve installed the latest driver version 32.0.101.8136 using DDU as you recommended, but unfortunately, there’s no change — the same graphics issues still occur in Roblox.

Could you please let me know how I can send the SSU report and the video clips privately? If it's through email, what's the email address?
