G'evening!
When I have a game open, in this case WoW: Classic, I get a flickering if I have certain things at the forefront on my second screen - WhatsApp web, YouTube, Twitch, WoWHead (when it has video ads playing).
I have an Acer Predator A770.
Is anyone else experiencing this?
Drivers are: 31.0.101.4369
Any and all support is welcome!

Hello Steve_NB
These types of compatibility issues are something we continue to work on, even though is hard to address compatibility with every monitor in the market we continue to improve how the GPUs work with each monitor and the different features the Intel® Arc™ GPUs are able to provide.

Alas, no direct "woo" message.
After setting up the new monitor, as part of a 3 screen setup, I had the issues you see in the videos attached.
After moving cables around, putting REBAR back on several times, we seem to be in business. No flickering etc
However...
Monitor 1 60hz / Monitor 2 165hz / Monitor 3 60hz
It doesn't matter which I have switched on, out of M1 and M3, M2 runs over 60 fps, but then as soon as both M1 and M3 come into play, M2 limits to a solid 60. I've tested this on a couple of games.
If this a limit on the card?
Kind regards!

Hello JP117
Thank you for reporting back your findings. Just to make sure I understand that the original flickering issue is fixed. Is this correct?
As for the refresh rate issue that you are experiencing there should not be limitations on the GPU side to provide 165Hz on the other monitor. Please share with us a report from the Intel Graphics Command Center (Intel GCC) to get more information from each of the monitors.
Also, if possible, please share a short video of the issue to have a better understanding of the problem.
Best regards,

Hi Hugo,
After testing, it seems the monitor will go over 60 if it's set as the main display - never noticed this on other monitors before, is it common? LG ULtragear.
During testing, this started to happen on and off (see attached videos) - major graphics breakage + the flickering is back! This is with a brand new monitor. It is really starting to feel like either this card isn't working correctly, or my setup just isn't right for an Arc card
What steps can I take to either source a replacement or simply get a refund? I still have my former GPU.

Hello JP117
Thank you for letting us know. As you mentioned, the behavior you are experiencing is rare and uncommon. Were you able to test disabling Variable Refresh Rate and check if the same happens?
In case you want to do a replacement for the GPU, you will need to contact your place of purchase or the GPU manufacturer, since this is a Predator version you will need to contact Acer directly.

Hi Hugo,
It happens with VRR on and off, but only when set to a display above 60hz.
Sadly, I'll have to contact Acer
Thank you to you and the community for all the assistance!

Dunno if OP is still active but did you solve the problem? I have the exact same and it only happens in WoW. Only solution is to turn of Hardware Acceleration in the browser but it sucks since it puts your CPU under high load.

Hello,
my primary and predictable blanking issue went away when I turned off the variable refresh rate feature.
I more recently had a similar issue where the screen would go blank when my game (Elite Odyssey) got particularly busy, which as you can imagine could be inconvenient. I never raised an issue on this - it went away when I updated my motherboard BIOS to the latest version at the time. That's one of the standard questions you will be asked when raising an issue, so I thought I would get ahead of the game.
So right now I have no issues.
I have a Gigabyte B660M DS3H AX DDR4 motherboard.
Probably not very helpful, but I wish you luck.
Steve
