i've recently had the chance to get my hands on a B580 and i've been very happy with it so far.
That was until yesterday tho.
After installing Call of Duty Black Ops 6 i've noticed that VRS is not supported. That's a bummer as this is the only way to gain a stable high refresh rate in 1080p.
I've googled a ton about this problem but all i could find was an older article mentioning it.
Is this a problem on my end?
Has Activision to fix it? Or is this a driver problem?
My Hardware:
5700x3d
32gb 3200mt/s RAM
850w PSU
Best Regards

Just an update on this.
I've tested Modern Warfare 3 to see if VRS works. Indeed it works there without any problems and performance is drastically better.

Hello blagyyy,
Thank you for posting on Intel Community Forum.
It appears that you have an inquiry regarding Variable Rate Shading (VRS) not being supported by the Intel Arc B580 when playing Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. To assist you more effectively, could you please provide the following information:
1. Where did you download the game? Kindly share the download link.
2. What is the current driver version installed on your system?
I look forward to your response.
Best regards

Hello,
the game is downloaded via the Xbox App. Just to be sure i've tried battle.net aswell. there was no VRS available too.
Current installed Driver Version is 6874 (the newest one)

Hello blagyyy,
I'm following up with the investigation that I had conducted.
After review, the implementation of VRS on different graphics cards is determined by game developers and not controlled by Intel. Therefore, for further assistance, we recommend that you contact Activision Support.
With this in mind, I will now close this inquiry. Should you have other questions or concerns, please submit a new question as this thread will no longer be monitored.
Best regards

Thanks for the quick reply.
That's really sad. Guess i gotta live with subpar performance until the next CoD as there is no way Activision will ever fix this
