Way to go Intel.  Thanks for the heads-up on your lastest graphic drivers.

Until today, there was one link for drivers for 11th gen and later machines

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/785597/intel-arc-graphics-windows.html

It covered UHD 770 (et. al.), Iris XE, and ARC.  The latest driver before today was 7029.

Now, Intel has bungled that, by making that link for ARC ONLY.

So, what about UHD 770 and Iris XE?  Well, since the above link did not provide any information on where to go, you had to dig it out yourself.

The link for 11th to 14th gen drivers is now:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/864990/intel-11th-14th-gen-processor-graphics-windows.html

So, the new ARC revision is 8132, and the new UND 770/Iris XE revision is 7076.

But would it not have been nice for Intel to say something?  Just another example of their excellent customer support.

So trying to install 8132 on UHD 770 on a 12th and 13th gen machine simply fails to even start.

Very nice.

But it gets better.  One of my machines has both ARC and Iris XE.

If you install the ARC 8132 driver with a clean install, it deletes your latest Iris Xe and takes that back to some driver from Sept 2022.

And, if you update the Iris XE with 7076 and a clean install, it takes the ARC driver you just installed back to Sept 2022.  So, no clean installs?  Intel, if you want to seprate  ARC from UHD 770 and Iris XE, how about separating the clean installs as well?  Sheesh...

And Intel wonders why business is bad.  No heads-up, no warnings, no nothing.  And, obviously no testing.

Please, no moderator or employee need reply, as the response would only be embarrassing.

And, developers, did you bother to do any testing?

And, this is an indication that driver support for 11th through 14th gen machines is in jeopardy, as they are now considered legacy.  Save your driver downloads now.  We know how good Intel is at deleting drivers.

Also, Intel, you need to fix your web page:
