To have a better understanding of the situation, please answer the following questions:
- Is the power consumption around 40w when the graphics card is idle?
- Download, run, save and attach the report for the following tool Intel® System Support Utility for Windows (SSU), you can find the steps on the link How to get the Intel® System Support Utility Logs on Windows.

Hello js31,
Thank you for your time, we have been working on the investigation.
It seems the power consumption is within specification: "The power consumption of Intel Arc Graphics cards (even during Idle state) depends largely on the number of displays connected to the card and each display's resolution/refresh rate." You can verify what steps were taken and let us know, although this consumption seems normal for the card, you can, different cards would have different consumption since they have different components.

Andres P.

hello, I'm using a 24" ,1920x1080p 144hz monitor. I watched a lot of review videos before buying the arc a750. I think most users are aware of the high power consumption of arc a750 and a770. I hope this is not a hardware issue and will be resolved with a software update.
