Chrome not loaded as soon as you open it. This is a driver issue. Only happened after installing the latest driver. Please intel stop deploying broken drivers before user acceptance testing...

I am on the latest driver that is currently out right now.

I am not sure when i got this issue but i know for sure it was one of the later drivers that caused this.
I have on 3 occassions tried to completely remove the driver off the GPU by using DDU and reinstalling those drivers again. Nothing changed. Another thing that the intel driver and support assistant is broken too on the latest version of windows 11 24h2.

Hi primalpancake92,

Thank you for sharing this information with us.

No worries, I'll further check on this, but first, can you clarify a few things with us:

  • May I know if this is the driver version you updated with that's encountering the issues (driver version: 32.0.101.6559)?
  • Have you tried rolling back to your previous driver version? does the issue persist on the older version?
  • What is the previous driver version do you have?

Also, to further help us on the investigation, kindly run this on your system so that I can also gauge the following peripherals and the driver versions that you have:

Intel® System Support Utility for Windows*

Once finished downloading, open the tool, click on scan (leave the default items checked), click next, then save the system information to a .txt file. Please provide us the .txt file.

Best regards,

Okay Earl, I have found the issue. It seems like windows 11 has some issue with intel's drivers for some weird reason and I found the fix to be removing temp files via windows settings. This fixed the issue with google chrome not opening up as soon as you double click it and the flickering issues associated with adobe after effects. This is quite strange as I am running the 6559 version and after reinstalling windows this issue is no longer persisting. It seems to me that major windows updates is corrupting the drivers. I am unsure why is this happening, but it seems like microsoft is screwing every major hardware manufacturer other than Nvidia.
