phasmophobia issue

Hello, I have been using Arc A770, and when I play Phasmophobia I find some issues. Like some visuals shadows are not smooth and jaggy and the visuals are not as tempting as an Nvidia GPU one also in some maps it gives lag spikes a lot at first but then reduces. So I have included the report of SSU and some ss of the visual issues unfortunately I couldn't give the recording as it exceeds the maximum size of uploading the file

N.B: I haven't used any advanced launch options in Steam like dx11or Vulkan. also in my case in the case of dxvk it lags more

Hello Arc_Lover,

Thank you for posting in our communities.

May I know what troubleshooting steps you have already tried to isolate the issue? This is to ensure we won't provide the same recommendation to you.

Furthermore, upon checking, the only file that you have attached was only the SSU file, as I wasn't able to find the screenshot showing the visual issues. If feasible, please share it with us.

In addition, please try to put the recording inside a folder, then zip that folder and check if it can be attached here.

1. Create a folder.

2. Insert the video recording in that folder.

3. Right-click the folder, click send to, then click compressed (zipped) Folder.

4. Once you zip it, attach it to this thread.

By the way, does the issue occur the first time that you play the game? This question will also help us to easily isolate the issue.

We look forward to your response!

Best regards,

Carmona A.

Hi there,

It sounds like you're experiencing some performance issues with your Arc A770 while playing Phasmophobia. Based on what you've described, here are a few suggestions that might help:

  1. Update Drivers: Make sure you have the latest drivers for your Arc A770. Sometimes, performance issues and visual glitches can be resolved with driver updates.

  2. Adjust Graphics Settings: Try tweaking the in-game graphics settings. Lowering some settings like shadows or texture quality might help with the jaggy visuals and lag spikes.

  3. Check for Conflicting Software: Ensure that there’s no other software running that could be conflicting with your game or GPU. Sometimes background applications can affect performance.

  4. Monitor System Performance: Use monitoring tools to check if there’s a specific resource bottleneck (CPU, GPU, RAM) when the lag spikes occur. This could give you a clue on what to adjust.

  5. Community Forums: It might also be worth checking out forums or communities specific to the Arc A770 or Phasmophobia for similar issues and possible solutions.

If these steps don’t resolve the issues, you might want to contact support for either the Arc A770 or Phasmophobia with your SSU report and screenshots for more targeted help.

Hope this helps!
