I recently installed a Sparkle A310 in a Dell Precision 3420 i7-7700 as part of a media center PC build. It's connected to a TCL 75R655 4K TV. All software, drivers and BIOS have been updated to their latest versions including the Intel Graphics software. The software sees the monitor as HDR capable and displays it as such, but refuses to recognize it as a 4K monitor, instead defaulting to 1920x1080. The Dell also has a UHD630 onboard graphics chip which also only displays 2K. I have done a clean install of the latest Intel graphics drivers to no effect.
The system has an 8K HDMI cable which has worked without issue with other PC's and GPU's from NVidia and Radeon, including a Dell Optiplex 960 with a Radeon R7 240 for many years which the new system is replacing.

Hello TVCCS,
Thank you for posting on Intel Community Forum.
To properly address the issue, kindly share the information below.
1. Are you using a direct connection (HDMI to HDMI)?
2. When you connect the UHD630 directly (A310 disabled), does it also max out at 1080p?
3. Have you tested the A310 with a different 4K display or monitor?
4. What refresh rate is currently being used?
5. Does reducing refresh rate to 30Hz allow 4K resolution selection?
I look forward to your response.
Best regards
Jed G.
