A770 16GB LE War Thunder almost always Driver Hangs after a match

After almost every match in War Thunder when I head back to the garage, the game will freeze for a few seconds (and sometimes unrecoverable and I had to hard reset the whole PC). You can see in the in-game screenshot if the game was able to recover it will show a message on the top left "Video driver hung and was restarted"

 

I have tested the issue in 2 different machines, first is a 14600K + Z790 system and the 2nd is a Core Ultra 7 265K + Z890 system and are seeing the same issue. Already on the latest 32.0.101.8247 (WHQL Certified) driver.

 

I've attached the SSU from both systems, as well as my in-game settings.

Let's keep the Core Ultra 7 265K + Z890M in the discussion as that's the system I'm keeping. After some time debugging it on my end, the setting causing the problem is due to Ray Tracing in the game. Once I turned it off the game runs fine again.

 

But there's performance left of the table and the game runs smooth even with Ray Tracing on so it's quite a shame.

To better diagnose the root cause of this issue, I'd appreciate if you could share some additional system information:

  1. Have you performed a clean installation of the latest Intel® Arc™ A770 and Intel® Graphics drivers (version 32.0.101.8247 WHQLusing DDU in safe mode?
  2. Can you verify that Resizable BAR is enabled in your system?
  3. What's the make and model of your PSU?
  4. Would you be able to export and share the application and system event logs from Event Viewer?
  5. Reproduction Steps: Could you walk me through the exact steps that trigger the issue? This will be crucial for troubleshooting.
