I tried uninstalling, RE Installing, installing WHQL Driver, and what not, No matter what, it tries to generate for a couple of seconds and says No Dialogue Found.Screenshot 2026-05-04 184733.png

Hello @Nuhash,

Thank you for posting your query on the Intel Community Forum!

To help us better understand the issue and investigate further, could you please provide a few additional details:

  1. Since when have you been experiencing this issue?
  2. Was the application working fine previously on the same system?
  3. Have there been any recent software updates or hardware changes (for example, Windows updates, driver updates, or component changes)?
  4. Is the application downloaded from official websites or a third-party link?

Thank you for your time and cooperation. We look forward to your update.

Warm regards,

Hi Manas, thanks a lot for reaching out,

1: I have been facing it for like a year or so, since I never had to use this feature before, So when I ever, started using this one, I saw this issue.

2: As far as I concern, Yes, I used it one before quite a while ago, that time it worked. Also in my other system it works fine.

3: Its Been mostly same, No software updates, genuine windows and no major changes, I just upgraded my RAM from 32 GB to 48 GB thats it.

4: yes premiere pro was downloaded from official Adobe Site and also, Using paid licensed creative cloud...

Lemme know if you would like to know more. Also if needed we can jump into a quick remote desktop session for better understanding..

Thanks and Regards

Hello @Nuhash,

Thank you so much for getting back to me with those details! It’s very helpful to know that your system is running a genuine environment and that you've recently upgraded your RAM - 48 GB is a great sweet spot for editing!

Since you’ve already tried the standard driver reinstalls, let’s try a few targeted troubleshooting steps to see if we can get that transcription engine back on track. Sometimes the handshaking between Premiere’s AI and the GPU needs a little nudge.

Here are a few things we can try:

1. Test with "Software-Only" Transcription

To rule out a specific communication issue between the Intel Arc driver and Adobe’s AI modules, let’s see if it works without hardware acceleration:

  • Go to File > Project Settings > General.
  • Change the Renderer to Mercury Playback Engine Software Only.
  • Try transcribing again. If this works, it helps us narrow the issue down to the GPU interaction.

2. The "Mono WAV" Workaround

This is often the most successful fix for this specific error! Sometimes the engine struggles with certain file formats or codecs:

  • Try exporting just the audio of your clip as a 16-bit 48kHz Mono WAV file.
  • Import that new WAV file back into your project and try transcribing it.

3. Deep Clean the Media Cache

Sometimes "old" data or corrupt peak files can prevent the engine from "hearing" the audio correctly:

  • Close Premiere Pro.
  • Navigate to '%AppData%\Adobe\Common' on your computer.
  • Manually delete the Media Cache and Media Cache Files folders.

You can download the SSU tool using the link below:

Intel® System Support Utility for Windows*

Note: While generating the SSU report, please make sure to uncheck the “Networking” option.

Thank you for your patience and for being part of the Intel community.

Hi Manas, I was on the Verge of the Deadline that left no time for me to debug the issue, Now I got some time, I played around the way you directed,

Step 1 : Since the New version wont let me switch to Software only Playback as it is greyed out, So Im kinda locked in here...

Nuhash_0-1778610812938.png

Step 2 : yes my Audio file is in WAV extension from the beginning.  also in 16 bit, 44 KHz.. That did not help at all..

Step 3: Yes, I could manage to clean Media Cache both manually and from Premiere, But no Luck.

Lemme know, if you need anything or any other set of information...

Hi @Nuhash,

I was going through the community and I just stumbled upon this thread. Since the standard "Media Cache" and "Software Rendering" steps didn't resolve the issue, we need to look at the SpeechESL module and how it interfaces with the Intel OpenVINO toolkit. On Arc cards, the "No Dialogue Found" error usually occurs when the AI engine fails to initialize the hardware-specific libraries, even if your drivers are up to date.

Before diving into logs, please try these "Super User" fixes. These target the specific handshake between Premiere’s AI and your A750:

1. Force-Refresh the Speech Engine (The Add-on Reset)

Sometimes the Language Pack is registered in the UI, but the binaries are corrupted or "ghosted."

  • Close Premiere Pro.

  • Open the Creative Cloud Desktop app.

  • Click the three dots (...) next to Premiere Pro > Add-ons.

  • Locate your language pack (e.g., English), remove it, and then re-add it. This forces a re-registration of the transcription DLLs that the Arc GPU needs to "see."

2. Clear the SpeechESL "Ghost" Cache

Premiere uses a specific folder for AI analysis that isn't cleared by the standard "Delete Media Cache" button.

  • Navigate to: %AppData%\Roaming\Adobe\Common\SpeechESL

  • Delete everything inside this folder.

  • Crucial: Right-click the SpeechESL folder > Properties > Security. Ensure your Windows User has Full Control. If Premiere cannot write temporary analysis files here, the GPU will return a "null" result, which the app interprets as "No Dialogue Found."

3. Audio Channel Mapping Verification

The AI engine is highly sensitive to channel mapping. If your audio is recorded as a multi-channel stream where "Channel 1" is empty, the engine stops immediately.

  • Right-click your clip in the Project Bin > Modify > Audio Channels.

  • Change the preset to Mono.

  • Ensure that the channel with the visible waveform is mapped to Clip Channel 1.

  • Try transcribing this modified clip.

4. Toggle Intel Hardware Decoding (Conflict Check)

Sometimes the "Deep Link" decoding logic conflicts with the transcription's AI encoding.

  • Go to Edit > Preferences > Media.

  • Uncheck "Intel®" under H.264/HEVC hardware accelerated decoding.

  • Restart Premiere and try the transcription once more.

Try these in order - steps 1 and 2 specifically address why an Arc card would fail while another system works fine. It’s almost always a broken path in the Adobe/Intel AI handshake.

Let me know if this gets you back to editing!

Your friendly neighborhood user!

Hi mate,

Sorry for getting back late. As I was on the verge of the deadline, thats why I had to finish the workload, and now I have some time to debug this issue.

So what I did:

Step 1: In the Creative Cloud app, I can see the three dots and installed add-ons, but it won't let me uninstall and reinstall anything...

So I moved to Step 2: Surprisingly, the folder you mentioned doesn't even exist in my system... I can see only up to the Common folder, no Speech ESL folder at all!

Step 3: So, here I did what exactly you told me to do: switched to Mono mode in the Channel 1 clip. No luck!

Step 4: Unchecking also made no difference..

Lemme know if you need any more information regarding anything specific.

Hello @Nuhash,

I hope you’ve been doing well! I just wanted to follow up regarding the transcription issue you were experiencing in Adobe Premiere Pro.

Were you able to try the troubleshooting steps we discussed earlier - especially the Software-Only renderer test and the Mono WAV workaround? I’m particularly curious to know if either of those helped narrow down the behavior.

If the issue is still happening, no worries at all - please feel free to share the results along with the SSU report whenever convenient, and I’ll be more than happy to continue investigating this with you.

Thank you again for your time, patience, and cooperation throughout the troubleshooting process. Looking forward to your update!
