Nvidia and AMD has their own filters for gpus. I got the arc a few days ago hoping for the best. but then i found out the filter was removed in newer versions. It was frustrating seeing blurry images without sharpening. I also cant change the contrast brightness what not on arc software now. please add global filters and the old visual enhancing options back

Hi Random360,

Thank you for contacting the Intel Community Forum. I appreciate you reaching out, and I’m here to help. To better understand your concern and provide the most accurate support, could you please clarify the following:

  • Which specific visual enhancement features are you referring to? (For example: image sharpening, contrast adjustment, brightness controls, saturation, etc.)
  • Are you looking to use these filters mainly for gaming, video playback, everyday desktop use, or a particular application?

To assist you more effectively, we also recommend sharing your Intel® System Support Utility (SSU) report. This report provides important details about your system’s hardware and software configuration, which will help us with your concern.

Please follow these steps:

  1. Download and run the Intel® SSU tool.
  2. The application will generate a text file with your system information.
  3. For detailed steps, please refer to the Help Guide for the Intel® System Support Utility
  4. Once complete, attach the generated file to your reply.

If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, feel free to let us know.

Best regards,

First of all, thank you very much for replying. Here is my system scanned file. There is a bottleneck with the CPU and Motherboard which should not effect customizability.

1. The visual enhancements I was looking for was Sharpening, contrast adjustment, brightness, saturation mostly (As you already stated). For someone who shifter from AMD's display system which allowed me to use some of these features on games, mainly the sharpness. The screen does not seem much appealing. This is a personal issue but we should be able to adjust it to our preferences.

2. Mostly for gaming or particular application. I don't need it in everyday uses but some people may need it.

3. Nvidia has their overlay to increase these visual enhancements in game. I may be missing out on Intel's features since I am new to this hardware or Intel currently does not support it.

Thanks again. These are my main concerns.

Thank you. Due to other company cards being sold out, many people would want intel. So giving the flexibility to change these visuals and to have the power to customize them should fit to their likings. My question is will we see this customizability soon?

Hi Random360,

Thank you for your response! The features you’re looking for are available in Intel Graphics Software (IGS). I highly recommend using Intel® Graphics Software instead of Intel® Arc Control, as it is newer and provides more features and improvements.

If you have any questions or need further clarification, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Hi Random360,

Thank you for your response! The features you’re looking for which are Contrast Adjustment, Brightness, and Saturation can be accessed and customized through the Intel Graphics Software (IGS). Please refer to the attached image for guidance. If you’re unable to locate these options, kindly share a screenshot of your Intel Graphics Software (IGS) interface so we can assist further.

Regarding Image Sharpening, please be informed that this feature has been removed, along with Adaptive Tessellation and Anisotropic Filtering. These features were discontinued starting with Intel Graphics Software version 25.22.1502.2, included in driver 32.0.101.6913. From this version onward, the features will no longer be available. For more details, you may refer to the following link: Intel® Graphics Software (IGS) Image Sharpener, Adaptive Tesselation,...
