Arc Latest Driver and UHD Latest Driver difference

Reference: Lenovo LOQ 15IAX9I with Intel Core i5-12450HX and Intel Arc A530M. Or in Short, a Hybrid Design

Note: This is only a question, not troubleshooting

After DDU and Installing the drivers from Lenovo's Driver website. And having both Arc and UHD have the same Driver (32.0.101.7040)

I was looking at the website for the latest Intel Arc and UHD Drivers. And, I notice that Intel UHD is quite far behind at 7088 at latest and the Arc at 8826 at latest (as of the time this question was posted)

And I am curious because if I kept the Unified Driver stack design. I might miss out some features like XeSS 3 with Multi Frame Generation.

I can downloaded the Arc Drivers and get those features, but the Problem is that it will override the UHD and Vice Versa. (But this one is already resolve so no need to solve this one)

And also, another question.

What happens if both of my Arc and UHD Driver Desync, like my Arc has 8826 and my UHD has 7088? What will happen then?

Regarding your concern, please keep in mind that this is an OEM device, which means Lenovo may have made customizations or changes to certain components to better suit your system. In other words, they are responsible for providing and managing features like the hybrid setup and how the components work together, even if they run on different driver versions. As a general rule, it's best to keep both drivers updated using Lenovo's OEM drivers, since Intel only provides generic drivers. Regarding the possibility of a de-sync issue, I'd recommend reaching out to Lenovo directly for guidance on that.

I also want to mention that as of September 19, 2025, Intel has moved 11th through 14th Gen Intel Processor Graphics, along with related Intel Atom, Pentium, and Celeron processor graphics, to a legacy software support model. Going forward, software updates for these products will follow a quarterly release schedule, with additional releases only for critical fixes and security vulnerabilities.
