I have just upgraded from windows 10 to windows 11, although my prior experience in win 10 with the b580 was kinda poor it was working. As soon as I upgraded to win 11 I have black screen I tried safe mode which initially worked but after a restart even that stopped working, I tried ddu but nothing. Any clue on how to proceed?
Thanks in advance!

Hi Stelios19,
Thank you for reaching out to the Intel Community Forum. To assist us in investigating the issue, please provide the following details:
- At what point does the issue occur? Does it happen during system startup, or does it occur when launching or running applications?
- Aside from updating to Windows 11, have you made any additional changes to your system or settings before the issue began?
- Beyond the troubleshooting steps already completed (including using DDU and restarting the system), what other actions have you taken to try to resolve the problem?
- Which driver versions have you tested so far in an attempt to address the issue?
For me to review the hardware and the installed driver, please help generate the SSU logs of your system.
Please refer to this link for the steps: How to get the Intel® System Support Utility Logs on Windows*
If you have any questions, please let us know. Thank you.

It has no post while the hdmi cable is plugged in the gpu at all.
I have also tried updating the bios, clean installed windows and reseated the gpu and the cables but I had no luck with all those and now the gpu doesn't even show on dive manager or bios. It all started when I first installed the win 11 upgrade.

Hi Stelios19,
Thank you for your response.
To further Isolate the issue, can you provide the following details?
- What is your complete system specification (CPU, motherboard, PSU wattage, RAM)?
- Are you using any PCIe riser cables or extensions?
- Did the system POST successfully before the Windows 11 upgrade?
- Do system fans and GPU fans spin up when powering on?
- Are there any LED indicators on the GPU or motherboard showing status?
- Does the system boot successfully when GPU is completely removed?
- Have you tried different PCIe slots for the GPU?
- Are you able to generate Intel SSU logs using integrated graphics or different GPU?
If you have any questions or need further assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Best regards,
Patrick V.

The set up is
Cpu: ryzen 7 5700g
Mobo: gigabyte b550m aorus elite ax
Ram: 16gb team group 3200mhz ddr4
Psu: gigabyte 750w 80+gold psu .
I don't use any riser cable and the gpu is plugged in the first slot, I cant use the other slot due to space restrictions.
System posts normally from the igpu but doesn't even rec0gnise the intel one. About the intel ssu, I don't know how to do it or what it is, but the intel driver software doesn't let me install drivers due to not been able to detect the card.
I am planning to try the card in another system to check if there is any problem with mobos pcie lane or the cpu, just to rule them .
Ifyou have any other suggestions I am willing to try, otherwise its going back under warranty.
Thanks in advance.

I tried the gpu in another system and it seems to work fine, no problems at all, it booted straight away and installed the drivers without a problem. The stress test was good so idk what's wrong.

HI Stelios19,
Thank you for the update.
Since you have confirmed that the Arc B580 graphics card works perfectly fine on another system, the issue is likely related to another component in your current setup—most likely the motherboard or another system-level component. With this, we highly recommend contacting your motherboard’s Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) for further diagnosis and support.
As no further assistance is required from our end, we will proceed with closing this inquiry. If you need additional help in the future, please feel free to submit a new question, as this thread will no longer be monitored.
Thank you, and have a great day!
Best regards,
Patrick V.
