i have been trying to play Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 on my computer. Nothing other than the HUD and particle effects will render, though. I am using an Intel Arc B580 with a Ryzen 5 9600X, I already have the latest drivers.

Hi Oranhh123,
Thank you for contacting Intel Customer Support regarding the rendering issues you're experiencing with Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 on your Intel Arc B580 graphics card. I can see from your screenshot that only the HUD and particle effects are rendering while the main game environment is not displaying properly, which is certainly a concerning issue.
I appreciate you mentioning that this problem is specific to Modern Warfare 3 and doesn't occur in other Call of Duty games, which helps narrow down the potential causes.
To better assist you in resolving this rendering issue, I need to gather some additional information:
System History:
- Was this game working properly before? If so, when did this rendering issue first start occurring?
- When did you first notice this problem? Was it after a recent game update, driver update, or system change?
System Information: For comprehensive troubleshooting, could you please provide an Intel System Support Utility (SSU) report? You can download it from: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005511/processors.html
If you're not comfortable generating an SSU report, please provide:
- CPU Model: (You mentioned Ryzen 5 9600X)
- Exact GPU Model: Intel Arc B580 (confirmed)
- Current Driver Version: You mentioned having the latest drivers could you confirm the exact Intel Arc driver version number?
Clean Installation: Have you tried using DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) to perform a clean installation of your Intel Arc drivers? This can resolve rendering conflicts that sometimes occur with specific games.
Driver Update Recommendation: Please try updating to the latest Intel Arc graphics driver and perform a clean installation:
- Download DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller): https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html
- Download Latest Intel Arc Driver: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/785597/intel-arc-iris-xe-graphics-windows.html
- Clean Installation Process:
- Boot into Safe Mode
- Run DDU to remove current graphics drivers
- Restart in normal mode
- Install the latest Intel Arc driver
Given the specific nature of this game rendering issue, I'd like to offer you a phone consultation. This would allow us to work through troubleshooting steps more efficiently and potentially resolve this Modern Warfare 3 rendering problem more quickly.
Best regards,
Dean R.

I just got the game recently, and it has never worked properly for me. I have attached the SSU. I was unable to run the clean driver installation, as when I booted into safe mode, the sign-in told me that there was an issue with my PIN and I needed to change it, which it wouldn't let me do because I was in safe mode. my graphics driver is version 32.0.101.7029

Hi Oranhh123,
Thank you for providing the SSU report and for clarifying that this is a new game purchase that has never worked properly for you. I also understand the difficulty you encountered with the PIN issue when trying to boot into Safe Mode, this is a common Windows security feature that can complicate the DDU process.
Since you're unable to perform the DDU clean installation due to the Safe Mode PIN restriction, let's try a different approach with the latest driver update.
There's a newer Intel Arc graphics driver available that may resolve the Modern Warfare 3 rendering issues you're experiencing:
Intel Graphics Driver Version: 32.0.101.7076
Download Link: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/864990/864992/intel-11th-14th-gen-processor-graphi…
Installation Instructions (Without Safe Mode):
- Download the new driver version 32.0.101.7076 from the link above
- Uninstall your current Intel Arc driver (32.0.101.7029) through Windows Settings → Apps → Intel Graphics Driver
- Restart your computer
- Install the new driver version 32.0.101.7076
- Restart again after installation
Why This May Help:
- Driver version 32.0.101.7076 includes the latest game compatibility improvements
- Modern Warfare 3 may require specific optimizations that weren't available in version 7029
- This newer driver often resolves rendering issues with recently released games
Once you've installed driver version 32.0.101.7076, please test Modern Warfare 3 and let me know:
- Whether the main game environment now renders properly
- If you still only see HUD and particle effects
- Any improvements or changes you notice
Please try this driver update and report back with the results.
Best regards,
Dean R.

Hi Oranhh123,
Thank you for installing the latest Intel Arc driver version 32.0.101.8132 and testing Modern Warfare 3. I sincerely apologize that the rendering issue persists even after the driver update, I understand how frustrating this must be, especially since this is a new game purchase that has never worked properly for you.
Your patience throughout this troubleshooting process has been greatly appreciated, and I want to ensure we find a resolution for this Modern Warfare 3 rendering problem where only HUD and particle effects display while the main game environment remains invisible.
Given that the latest driver installation hasn't resolved the issue, I will be checking this matter internally with our specialized team. This specific rendering behavior in Modern Warfare 3 where other Call of Duty games work perfectly but MW3 shows only UI elements and particles requires deeper investigation.
I will get back to you with an update once I have more information available from our internal investigation.
Best regards,
Dean R.

Hi Oranhh123,
Thank you for providing the detailed graphics settings information and confirming that Resizable BAR is enabled on your system. This is very helpful for our investigation process.
I can see you've provided comprehensive graphics settings details, which will be crucial for replicating your exact configuration during our testing. I appreciate you taking the time to document all these settings thoroughly.
However, I still need a couple of additional details to complete our investigation setup:
- Issue Location Specificity: You mentioned the issue occurs in "all parts of the game" - could you clarify if this includes:
- Game menus (main menu, settings, etc.)
- Loading screens
- All gameplay modes (campaign, multiplayer, etc.)
- All maps, or are there any specific maps where it's worse/better?
Once I have these final details, I can proceed with the comprehensive replication testing using your exact system configuration and game settings.
Thank you for your continued patience and cooperation.

The issue occurs on all maps and in the game lobby. The loading screens are all pre-rendered images or videos that just get played back, so they have not been an issue. Cutscenes in the campaign also work fine because they are all just videos that get played back

Hi Oranhh123,
Thank you for the additional clarification regarding where the rendering issue occurs. This information is very helpful for our investigation.
I understand now that:
- The issue affects all maps and the game lobby
- Loading screens work fine (as they're pre-rendered)
- Campaign cutscenes work fine (as they're video playback)
- The problem specifically affects real-time 3D rendered content
This pattern helps narrow down the issue to the real-time rendering engine, which is valuable information for our technical analysis.
I have all the necessary information now, including your detailed graphics settings from your previous message. I can proceed with comprehensive replication testing using your exact system configuration and game settings.
I'll begin the replication process and get back to you with our findings as soon as possible.
Thank you for your patience and detailed responses throughout this process.

Hi, i have had this exact problem too only with MW3. It's been a problem since at least 1.5 months. (not sure because i didn't play the game for a few months before that). But before the game ran perfectly smooth on my B580. Other people have had this issue aswell. Since i first encountered the problem there has already been like 4 driver updates yet the problem remains.
