Critical performance issues and driver issues with recent Capcom releases on Intel Arc A Series

This year Capcom released a really good bunch of games through the course of this year, all of them excellent, that's why it is actually unacceptable for Intel Arc A-series cards to run ALL of those games honestly poorly, even on ultra low settings with FSR on ultra performance, which shouldn't be the case because I know those cards are more than capable to run those games at max settings even with ray tracing on.

RE Requiem runs at 30 fps in semi-open areas, even recorded by popular PC benchmark YouTubers.

Monster Hunter Stories 3 runs at 15 fps in the demo, and there were reports on Reddit of it running at the same FPS in the full game as well; there wasn't even a Game On driver for it when it released.

Pragmata is even worse than RE Requiem; the game often runs at 30-40 fps in all areas, with open areas running it at the worst, even scratching 20 fps.

Onimusha Way of the Sword runs awful as well; being a hack-and-slash game, it's mandatory to have a steady 60 fps all the time, and of course it can't even reach 60 fps.

Monster Hunter Wilds still runs bad, and even the August demo doesn't launch on A-series cards.

All these games and all future Capcom games should be a main priority to fix, considering that all of these games run extremely well on even weaker hardware than A-series cards; you can get 60 fps with no problem on all these games with an RTX 2060 or RTX 3050.

Capcom is one of the best and most delivering companies at this current time, releasing a lot of games through the years. Only in 2026, they released 4 games and even an expansion for Dragon's Dogma 2; they confirmed for 2027 a Mega Man game, an expansion for Monster Hunter Wilds, and we're still waiting for the new Okami game now in development.

I personally love this company for all the experiences they gave me, but I sadly stopped buying their games after the disastrous launch of Pragmata on my Intel Arc A750.

Before, I created two tickets—one about RE Requiem and the other about Pragmata—and they closed them with that little check claiming that it's solved, but it isn't.

So please, it is really important for you to investigate it and fix those games and future Capcom games because as much I love those games, performace issues ruin those awesome games.

Thank you for reaching out. To give you a quick update, the issues with Resident Evil Requiem and Pragmata on the Arc A750 are known and currently being investigated. For Monster Hunter Wilds, a fix has been provided: Low performance while playing Monster Hunter Wilds

Since we handle game issues one at a time per thread, could you let us know which game you would like us to focus on? Once confirmed, could you help me confirm the following:

• Game version and source (Steam, Epic Games etc.)
• Troubleshooting steps already tried
• Whether Resizable BAR is enabled in BIOS
• Whether a clean DDU installation has been performed Whether the issue occurs across different in-game graphics settings, not just ultra-low

If the issue persists, please provide:

• An SSU report, at least three CapFrameX recordings in .json format, and screenshots of error messages when launching the game (if any).

It is good to know that you are still working on the RE Requiem and Pragmata issues, even if it has been months since I first posted about it. Hope we can get a solution as soon as possible!

As you said, there is a handful of games with the same problems—all of them use the RE Engine. But for now, in this same post, I would like to address Monster Hunter Stories 3 performance since it is the worst of them all.

I created another post on the Intel Arc Forums about Dragon's Dogma 2 where I report more about the game's current inexplicable performance, so check that out too, please.

Regarding Monster Hunter Stories 3, I can only provide you with data from the demo version because, like I told you before, I stopped buying Capcom games because all of them have atrocious performance on A-series cards, but this one in particular runs bad even on B-series cards.

MHS3 can't even reach 30 fps on any setting, and it has an average framerate of 15 fps, which is totally incoherent. There was a guy on Reddit who reported that the full game runs the same, so you can check for yourself how it runs on the full version.

• I can only provide data with the demo version on Steam, but it will run the same on the full version as well.

• I tried everything: reinstalling Windows, updating and downgrading drivers, lowering every possible setting, and it still runs around 15 fps.

• Yes, ReBAR is enabled in the BIOS.

• Yes, the issue occurred across different graphic settings, from ultra low to the highest possible, and I was playing around with FSR settings too, but the issue remains.

As you can see, it is a disaster; there wasn't even a driver update when it first released.

Before I wrap it up, I would like you to investigate more about Onimusha: Way of the Sword; there were posts about the lame performance in that game that ruins the experience. All these Capcom games should run at 60 fps because they are all extremely well-optimized, and it is obvious those are driver issues. Please look into it since there is no reason for Intel Arc A-series cards to keep falling behind, and please check my Dragon's Dogma 2 post out as well.
