I am having a odd issue which makes EFT unplayable its a bug on all maps where if you look in a certain direction of all maps. My frame rate drops to extremely low fps. Its happens a lot in pve. The steps to show this bug is to just play the game on any map and it gets worse during scav raids. My specs are:
Cpu: I9-10900k
Memory: T-force 32gb 3200mhz ddr4
Gpu: Arc B580 LE
Drivers: 32.0101.8247 WHQL

I already did a lot of troubleshooting from reinstall the drivers using ddu and changing in game settings. This was not happening before the 1.0 release of the game and wanted to include more information about my build. My motherboard is a Asus prime Z490-P with rebar on and updated to the lastest bios and my psu is a cosair Rme RM1200e.

Hi Swiezo,
Thank you for reaching out to the Intel Community Forum. I appreciate your message and want to assure you that I’m committed to helping you resolve this issue. To provide the most accurate and effective support, could you kindly share the following details:
- What specific frame rate drop are you experiencing? For example, does it decrease from 60 FPS to 15 FPS or from 120 FPS to 30 FPS? If possible, please include a short screen recording showing the low FPS scenario.
- Does the drop occur immediately when launching the game, or does it gradually worsen over time?
- Did you use Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) before installing the updated driver?
- Have you updated your graphics driver to version 32.0.101.8250?
- What are your current in-game graphics settings (resolution, texture quality, shadows, lighting, etc.)? Screenshots would be very helpful. Also, does the issue persist when all settings are lowered to the minimum?
- Are you using any graphics optimization or monitoring tools such as Intel Graphics Command Center, MSI Afterburner, Intel Graphics Software?
- What are your GPU and CPU usage and temperatures when the FPS drop occurs?
- On what driver does the Escape from Tarkov installed?
- Are there any other applications running in the background that might interfere with GPU performance? Like Discord overlay etc.
- Have you tried disabling Resizable BAR (ReBAR) temporarily to check if it impacts the issue?
- What is your current Windows power plan setting—High Performance, Balanced, or another option?
- Have you tested running Escape from Tarkov in windowed or borderless mode instead of fullscreen?
- Does this FPS issue occur only in Escape from Tarkov or in other games as well?
- Which platform are you using to run the game (e.g., Steam)? Have you verified the game files through the platform’s integrity check feature?
If you have any additional questions or need further assistance, please feel free to reach out. I’m here to help.
Best regards,
Kent Russel P.

1. I usually average frame rates around 90 fps to 80 fps then the game drops to 10 to 5 fps I would love to show a screen recording but I can't due to the resolution I play at which is 4k with up-scaling which makes the file to large to upload
2. The drop occurs immediately when I drop into game play
3 and 4. Yes I used ddu to install the updated driver and reinstall the whql and I prefer the whql driver because my system is more stable with the driver
5. I play at "medium" which is the most stable for the game and when I play at the "high" settings and above the game plays well for a little bit but then LODS and textures lods break as well the issue also occurs at low settings
6. I only use intel graphics to monitor fps and don't use any of the "graphics optimization" options beside vrr
7.When I play the game cpu usage ranges from 20-50 percent with temps averaging around 60-72 degrees c depending on maps and scavs raids and pmc raids due to the games nature of how pve works and when the bug occurs the gpu is barely being utilized at like 10% usage.
8.I play the game on both drivers the current whql 32.0101.8247 which is stable for my system and 32.0.101.8250 which causes blacks screens and driver timeouts.
9.No I turned off all other applications when play escape from tarkov for maximum performance.
10. Yes I turned off rebar and the game instantly drops fps regardless of which direction I look in.
11.I use windows power plan on high performance.
12.Yes I found fullscreen mode extremely unstable and crashes a lot while the windowed and borderless show similar framerates while doing the same bug where i look in a certain direction of the map the fps drops.
13. So far it is only tarkov where this bug happens
14. I use the Battle State Game Launcher which is the way I obtained the game. I have did the integrity check through the launcher and the launcher don't report any missing files

Hello Swiezo,
Could you please provide the CapFrameX logs of your gameplay? Please see the steps below on how to get the logs:
CapFrameX Installation Steps
- Download the latest version of CapFrameX from:
- Download the latest version of RTSS (RivaTuner Statistics Server) from:
- Unzip both installers and complete the installation.
- Launch CapFrameX once, then close it to create the configuration folder.
- Download and unzip the attached file OverlayEntryConfiguration_0.json (recommended RTSS settings).
- Copy this file to:
- %userprofile%\Documents\CapFrameX\Configuration
- In CapFrameX, go to Capture tab and set Capture time to 0 (removes preset time limit).
- In the Overlay tab, uncheck Auto-Disable OSD and click the Save icon.
Capturing Performance Data
- Open CapFrameX and keep it running (do not minimize or close).
- Launch the game and navigate to the section where the issue occurs.
- You should see the RTSS overlay in the top-left corner with the status:
- [game name] ready to capture…
- Press F11 to start capturing and reproduce the issue.
- The overlay will show: Recording frametimes XX s.
- Press F11 again to stop capturing.
- The overlay will change to: Processing data.
- In CapFrameX, go to the Analysis tab. Captures will appear in the left panel; click any to view results.
- To export data as a JSON file, right-click the capture and select:
- Copy/paste recording file(s).
Once we have this information, we will perform further investigation of this issue.
Best regards,
Kenneth B.
