I encountered multiple crashes and error messages while playing Cyberpunk 2077.

The crashes are completely random, but they happen almost every time I press Windows Game. Below is the game crash log. My system version is Windows 11-25H2, my GPU is B580, and my graphics card driver version is 32.0.101.8629. I would appreciate any help. Thank you!

Hello FengYue03,

Thank you for reaching out and sharing the details of the issue in Intel Community Forum.

I understand that you are experiencing random crashes, particularly when using Windows Game, and we appreciate your patience.

To proceed with troubleshooting, we recommend the following steps:

  • I request you to perform a clean installation using DDU to resolve this issue. Please refer to the link below to perform clean installation using DDU:

  • Generate a system report using Intel System Support Utility (SSU). While creating the SSU report, please ensure that the Network tab is unchecked.

I have strictly followed your instructions. First, I downloaded DDU using the URL you provided, entered Windows Safe Mode to perform a clean uninstall of the graphics driver, and then restarted my computer to reinstall it. Finally, I used the tool you provided to generate a log file and have uploaded it here.

Hello FengYue03,

I hope you are doing well.

Thank you for the update and for confirming the troubleshooting steps you’ve already completed. We really appreciate the detailed follow‑up and the shared log file.

At this point, the next recommended step is to update the motherboard BIOS to the latest version and then recheck the game. BIOS updates often include improvements related to system stability, hardware compatibility, and GPU/PCIe behavior.

You can download the latest BIOS for the MSI B450I GAMING PLUS MAX WIFI from the official support page here:

https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/B450I-GAMING-PLUS-MAX-WIFI/support

After updating the BIOS, please load default BIOS settings, reboot the system, and test the game again.

If the issue still persists after the BIOS update, please also share the following for further analysis:

  • Crash dump files.
  • Windows Event Viewer logs related to the crash

Your feedback will help us determine the next steps and continue assisting you effectively.

Best regards,

I hope this message finds you well.

I wanted to follow up regarding the BIOS update for your MSI B450I GAMING PLUS MAX WIFI motherboard. I trust that you've had a chance to apply the update and test the game again, as recommended. I’d love to hear about your experience so far.

If the issue persists, we can move forward with further troubleshooting. Please share any crash dump files or Windows Event Viewer logs related to the crash, as they will help us narrow down the problem more effectively.

Your cooperation and patience are truly appreciated as we work to resolve this.

Looking forward to your update.

Rest assured, my BIOS has been maintained at the latest version. I am writing to inform you that your first recommendation—performing a clean uninstallation of the graphics drivers using DDU followed by a fresh reinstall—has successfully resolved the issue. The gaming performance has now returned to normal.

Thank you very much for your invaluable assistance. Best regards and may you be blessed.
