I'm here because some genius decided to remove Arc Control from one of the drivers, meaning it no longer exists.
How do I now tune the GPU? I'm stuck at 190W and other 'default' options for managing the GPU with no way to control anything specific. And before someone mentions; no, MSI Afterburner does not work for this.

Hello Powerquil,
Thank you for reaching out to the Intel Community Forum. I understand your concern regarding the removal of Intel Arc Control from the driver and the difficulty in tuning your GPU. To assist you better, could you please provide the following details:
- When did you first notice that Arc Control was missing?
- Have you tried reinstalling the latest Intel Arc driver package from the official Intel Download Center?
- Are you experiencing any performance issues or limitations aside from the inability to adjust power and tuning settings?
- Could you please provide us the SSU logs of your system? You can find instructions on How to get the Intel® System Support Utility Logs on Windows*
Once I have this information, I can guide you on the next steps.
We will wait for your response so we can further assist you.
Best regards,
Kenneth B.

I was on driver 32.0.101.6559 when Arc Control still existed. After installing version 101.7208 and now currently on 8136, Arc Control no longer exists. It's not in the driver installer and it's definitely not available anywhere. I have not had yet the opportunity to update due to unrelated issues, but the point remains; why was Arc Control removed from the driver at all?
I do have issues with the Intel driver but they're unrelated to Arc Control (namely memory leaks in STALKER 2, memory leaks in DWM where the DWM process on Windows 10 consumes an ever-increasing amount of memory and doesn't release). I have also had issues with putting the computer to sleep, where if I do so, then the computer is guaranteed to freeze up at an indefinite time after waking up. As long as I don't put the computer to sleep, it runs forever, but the moment I do, then it's basically inevitable upon next wake up; it doesn't happen instantly, but it does within at least 48-96 hours; there's no fixed interval. These issues have existed ever since I installed the GPU this year, close to the start of 2025, so this isn't an Arc Control issue.
I shall attach the SSU logs at the earliest possible; posting this response so there can be insights on this.

My response seems to have disappeared, so I'm posting here again. I don't know what happened, but upon refreshing the page, the response no longer exists.
- With driver version 32.0.101.6559, I still had Arc Control. Upon updating to version 7028 and later (current) 8136, I no longer have Arc Control. The software doesn't exist in the driver itself.
- I've not, as yet, had a chance to update the driver due to unrelated issues; I shall do so at the earliest opportunity.
- The lack of Arc Control has not yet affected performance or stability, though since the GPU defaults to 190W (instead of the maximum of 225) and the fan curve defaults to too high (instead of being slower as needed), I suppose that could be considered an issue.
- Along with this, there are issues unrelated to Arc Control, namely memory leaks (especially in STALKER 2 and DWM itself, whereupon DWM on Windows 10 will consume an ever-increasing amount of memory without releasing it) and the computer freezing at an indefinite time after waking up from sleep. To elaborate:
- For the memory leaks, DWM has been somewhat stable since the past 5-8 driver versions; I do not know when exactly, but I still occasionally run into DWM spiking with large amounts of memory held by it, between 1 to 4 GBs. It is rare now, hence I can't reproduce it on-demand. It used to happen most often when playing STALKER 2 but also other heavy games like Horizon: Forbidden West and Need For Speed: Heat.
- For the computer freeze, it has been an issue since forever and has remained unresolved. Running the computer without ever putting it to sleep works; the computer will work indefinitely with zero issues. Once I put it to sleep, however, the computer is guaranteed to freeze the next time it wakes up. It will not happen instantly or at a predictable time, but it happens between 48-96 hours. At that point, it jsut freezes, with only the fans running and the display, the processing and everything else frozen.
- And yes, this is a GPU issue, because prior to the GPU being installed, I was running on the iGPU available in my system (a UHD 730 on an i5-11400) and putting the computer to sleep was always reliable with zero issues. It is only with the A750 that this problem happens.
- The SSU logs have been attached.

Hello Powerquil,
You may follow the steps outlined in the article-The "Tuning" Tab is Missing in Intel® Graphics Software (IGS). However, if the issue persists, please perform a clean installation of the graphics driver using DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) and install the latest version 32.0.101.8331 (WHQL Certified) . I’ve attached the instructions for this process below. Let me know if you notice any changes after completing these steps.
- Clean Installation of Intel® Graphics Drivers in Windows*
- How to Use the Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to Uninstall a...
I look forward to your response.

- I shall perform the clean update of the driver at the earliest. However, the 'Tuning' tab has NEVER existed for me in IGS. Following your outlined steps in the listed article does nothing. Besides, the article says that the minimum driver version for that is 6651; I've been through 7028 and am now on 8136 and the situation has not changed; the IGS never showed a 'Tuning' menu ever since I installed it. Even updating IGS itself via the Microsoft Store has not fixed that.
Will post a response here post driver update; I hope to have it done soon via DDU + updated driver.

Hello Powerquil,
I hope you are doing well. I wanted to follow up regarding the Intel Graphics Tuning tab issue you mentioned. Were you able to complete the clean driver update using DDU and install the latest driver?
If the issue persists after the update, please let me know so I can assist you further. Additionally, could you confirm if you are using the latest version of Intel Graphics Command Center from the Microsoft Store?
Please share any observations after the update so we can continue troubleshooting.
Best regards,
Kenneth B.
