I have an intel arc b580 i5 12400 and 1 stick of ddr4 16 gb ram and play my games on a gen 3 nvme ssd
while playing marvel rivals i used to be unable to run a game on low settings without frame gen and now even with frame gen enabled my game runs badly even at ultra low graphics i have tried re installing the game re installing my drivers i have done everything i can i even reached out on the intel support before and for a time my problems did solve i dont face any issues in any other games i play when i had a gtx 1650 and played marvel rivals on a hdd i could run the game smoothly i dont understand why am i having an issue now AS other players with similar graphics can run the game smoothly but for me it stutters greatly and i often get 0 to 10 fps in a competive game i do not know what to do as i cant understand how can it be a rivals issues if people with same specs can run the game

I understand how frustrating it must be to experience severe stuttering and drops to 0–10 FPS in a competitive game, especially after you have already reinstalled the game and graphics drivers and previously experienced an improvement after contacting Intel Support.
We also understand your concern that other games are running normally and that you were able to play Marvel Rivals smoothly with your previous GTX 1650 system. We appreciate the detailed information you have provided about your current configuration.
To help us investigate the issue further, could you please provide the following information?
- RAM configuration: Please confirm whether the system is currently using a single 16 GB DDR4 module and its speed.
- Is Resizable BAR (ReBAR) enabled in BIOS?
- Is the Intel Arc B580 connected to the primary PCIe x16 slot?
- What is the PCIe generation/link speed reported for the Arc B580?
- Does the severe stuttering occur immediately after launching Marvel Rivals, or only after playing for some time?
- When the FPS drops to 0–10, what are the GPU utilization, GPU temperature, CPU utilization, and VRAM usage?
- Does lowering the resolution or changing between DX11/DX12, if available, make any noticeable difference?
- Have you tested Marvel Rivals with Frame Generation disabled to compare the performance?
- Have you cleared the game's shader cache or allowed the shader cache to rebuild after reinstalling the graphics driver? If yes, please share the results.
- Are there any background applications, overlays, or recording software running while playing?
- Does the issue occur in both fullscreen and borderless/windowed mode?
Since the issue appears to be isolated to Marvel Rivals while other games are reportedly performing normally, the additional information will help us determine whether the behavior is related to the game configuration, system configuration, driver interaction, or hardware performance.
Please also provide the latest Intel® System Support Utility for Windows* (SSU) log with network adapter unchecked from the affected system. This will allow us to review the processor, motherboard, BIOS, memory configuration, graphics adapter, PCIe configuration, driver versions, and other relevant system information.
When generating the SSU, please ensure the Intel Arc B580 is installed and enabled.
Once we receive the requested details and SSU log, we can review the configuration and advise on the appropriate next steps.

We understand how frustrating it can be to experience frequent stuttering and game crashes, especially when the issue continues even after lowering the graphics settings. We also acknowledge the additional details you shared regarding your RAM configuration, Resizable BAR, PCIe slot, display modes, and the black screen/crash when opening other applications while gaming.
We reviewed the SSU information and noticed that the graphics driver currently installed on your system is an older version.
As the next troubleshooting step, we request that you perform a clean installation of the latest Intel Arc graphics driver 32.0.101.9030 using the link below:
Intel® Arc™ Graphics – Windows*
After completing the clean driver installation:
- Restart the system.
- Launch the affected game and test the issue again.
- Check whether the stuttering and crashes continue.
- If the issue occurs again, please note the circumstances under which the crash or black screen occurs.
Once the testing is complete, kindly update us with the results. If the issue persists, we can continue with further troubleshooting based on the results and the SSU information.
