Hello,
I am using an Intel Arc A750 GPU and I’m experiencing a severe performance drop specifically in God of War .
Previously, I was getting around 85–95 FPS with the same graphics settings. However, starting from the previous driver version, my FPS suddenly dropped to around 25–30 FPS.
When the new driver was released, I updated immediately hoping it would fix the issue, but unfortunately the problem still persists.
What’s strange is:
Other games are performing normally.
For example, Red Dead Redemption 2 still runs at the same high FPS as before.
The issue seems to be isolated only to God of War (Epic Games)
Since the performance drop started with the previous driver and continues with the latest one, I suspect there may be a game-specific optimization or shader-related issue.
Could you please investigate this? Let me know if you need logs or additional information.
Thank you.

Hi Mike,
The God of War game was installed on the hard drive. I moved the game files to the SSD and my problem is solved. Thank you for your help.
Have a good day.

For me to better understand and diagnose the issue further, let me ask you to provide detailed responses to the following questions. This information will help me isolate the problem and determine the most appropriate course of action moving forward.
- Kindly tell me how did you update the driver?
- What are the other troubleshooting steps that you tried before?
- What is your game launcher?
- Please send a screenshot of the Graphics settings of the game.
- For me to review the hardware and the driver installed, please help generate the SSU logs of your system. Kindly refer to the link for the steps: How to get the Intel® System Support Utility Logs on Windows*

Hi Mike, thank you for your reply.
1. I updated the driver from Intel Graphics Software and selected the clean installation option.
2. I cleared the shader cache, checked the resize bar (on), and cleaned temporary files.
3. Epic Games.
4. I've attached a screenshot of the game settings.
5. I created and attached an SSU log.
6. I recorded a CapFrameX video longer than 5 minutes and attached it. I've applied all the CapFrame settings mentioned in the "Please read first" section below.
Finally, I'd like to add that I took an in-game screenshot the day I started this thread, and I've included the FPS from that time and the current FPS. (22 FPS from the day I started the thread, 50 FPS from today)
Have a good day.

Hi Mike
I downloaded the latest version of DDU from the link you provided, uninstalled the driver in safe mode, and restarted.
Then I downloaded the latest driver from the link you provided (gfx_win_101.8509) and restarted.
After that, I checked for Windows updates and updated a driver called "Intel System 32.0.101.5542" and restarted.
As a result, I launched the game and saw that my problem was not resolved. I'm attaching screenshots below.
Unfortunately, the problem persists.
Thanks.
