I wanted to report a problem and maybe see if a possible fix would be possible... So, I've noticed that in older games the Arc B580 12GB is performing really badly. For comparison, I have a 3050 8GB, and when I play Skyrim Special Edition with mods, the performance I get on the 3050 8GB is better than the Arc B580. It's not just this game, in other older games I've noticed an improvement using the Nvidia card.

Hi Samuel,
Thank you for posting and for sharing such a detailed comparison. That kind of information is genuinely helpful and gives us a solid starting point to work from.
So, the Arc B580 12GB underperforming compared to the RTX 3050 8GB in older titles like Skyrim Special Edition is definitely something worth looking into. T
Before I can give you more targeted guidance, could you share the following details:
- The exact Intel Arc B580 driver version currently installed
- Your operating system version, for example Windows 11 23H2
- Your RAM capacity, speed, and whether it is running in single or dual channel
- Your power supply unit model and wattage
- Your monitor model and the display cable type you are using, such as HDMI or DisplayPort
- Whether Resizable BAR is currently enabled in your BIOS
- A screenshot of your current in-game graphics settings for the affected games
- The list of other older games where you have noticed the performance gap
- Whether the performance issue in Skyrim Special Edition also occurs with all mods disabled
- Whether you have performed a clean driver installation using DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller)
- Your Intel System Support Utility (SSU) report, which you can generate by downloading the tool from https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/detect.html
It would also be helpful to collect some CapFrameX performance captures in the affected games. Keep CapFrameX open, press F11 to start and stop recording during gameplay, export the captures as .json files, and share at least 3 captures so I can take a closer look at the performance data.
Please feel free to reply here with the details above.
Best regards,

I hope you’re doing well.
I’m following up regarding the Intel Arc B580 performance issue you reported, particularly the lower performance compared with the RTX 3050 in older titles such as Skyrim Special Edition.
We would appreciate it if you could provide the requested system and troubleshooting details so we can further investigate the issue. In particular, please share the following, if available:
- Intel Arc B580 driver version
- Windows/operating system version
- RAM capacity, speed, and single/dual-channel configuration
- PSU model and wattage
- Monitor model and display cable type
- Whether Resizable BAR is enabled in BIOS
- Screenshots of your in-game graphics settings
- Other older games where you have observed a similar performance gap
- Whether the Skyrim issue persists with all mods disabled
- Whether you have performed a clean driver installation using DDU
- Your Intel System Support Utility (SSU) report
It would also be helpful to provide at least three CapFrameX performance captures from the affected games in
