Running Honkai: Star Rail with a Ryzen 7 5700X and B550 motherboard causes the game to freeze, followed by a system reboot shortly after. This issue particularly occurs in the Simulated Universe mode, where prolonged battles trigger the game freeze and system restart.

I noticed in the SSU logs that the graphics driver version currently installed appears to be outdated. Have you had the chance to install the latest available version to see if it resolves the issue?

Even after updating to the latest drivers, this issue still persists. This problem only occurs with this specific game and has been ongoing for over two months. Previously when using an AMD GPU, there were no such issues. 

The issue frequently occurs in the Divergent Universe mode, not in the Simulation Universe mode. I misspoke earlier

構成は以下の通りです。

CPU 5700x

GPU Asrock Arc B580 12GB OC challenger 

MB MSI B550 PRO VDH 

RAM DDR4 3200 16GB×1

PSU NZXT 750w Bronze 

スレッド作成者の方と似たような構成です。GPUドライバーは最新です。

 

今日、ほぼ同じシチュエーション(階差宇宙でプレイ時、メニューからブラウザを開いた時)でシステム全体がフリーズした後、数十秒して自動的に再起動が行われました。開始10分程の出来事だったと思います。

直ぐにイベントビューアを確認するとWHEA-Loggerや予期せぬシャットダウン、KP41が記録されていました。

 

過去にも同じようなシステムハングの話題のスレッドがあり、このスレッドもタイムリーだったのでリプライさせていただきました。

Thank you for your response. After the system reboot, I did encounter a WHEA-Logger 18 error. Initially, I mistakenly suspected it was a CPU issue and disabled PBO (Precision Boost Overdrive), but the problem persisted. Later, I replaced the power supply with an 850W unit, yet the issue still occurs. Interestingly, stress tests like dual CPU/GPU workloads (e.g., Prime95 + FurMark) show no instability, and even demanding AAA games like Black Myth: Wukong run without issues.

WHEAエラーの内容も同じですね。

私もWHEA18でCPUのエラーと表示されて焦りました。エラーが起きて暫くは他のゲームやアイドル時の温度を観察していました。しかし、異常な発熱などは見られませんでした。グラフィックボードの温度も正常でした。

AIに情報をまとめさせて同じようなケースを調べましたが端的に言うと、グラフィックドライバーの不具合で、CPUキャッシュに不正なアドレスへのアクセスを要求する事でシステム全体がダウンし、CPUのキャッシュエラーという名目でWHEAに記録されるみたいです。
