Hello Intel Team,
With the recent launch of the Arc Pro B-series for workstations and the impressive Xe3 integration in Panther Lake mobile chips, there is a clear focus on AI and integrated graphics. However, for those of us in the desktop gaming community, the silence regarding a discrete successor to the Arc B580 is concerning.
Recent industry reports and leaks suggest that the Xe3 "Celestial" discrete gaming architecture may have been cancelled or pivoted exclusively to data center/mobile applications. As an early adopter of the Arc platform, I would like to ask:
Is there an official strategy for discrete gaming GPUs beyond the current Battlemage generation?
Why has the public roadmap for consumer dGPUs not been updated to reflect the status of Celestial or Druid?
Can Intel commit to continued "Game On" driver support for current dGPU owners if no new desktop hardware is planned for the 2026-2027 cycle?
We value the competition Intel brought to the GPU market, but the current lack of a clear desktop roadmap makes it difficult for enthusiasts to stay committed to the ecosystem.

Hi Trinex,
Thank you for your continued support of Intel Arc.
We understand your desire for roadmap clarity. Please be advised that as a general corporate policy, we can't comment on unannounced Intel® products, future technologies, or technology trends. For the most current information on our graphics roadmap, please monitor our official announcements through Intel Newsroom
Additionally, regarding the Intel Product Roadmaps, it requires a Corporate Non-Disclosure Agreement (CNDA) and an appropriate Intel account to view, as they may pertain to Intel-confidential pre-release products.
With that, we will proceed to close this thread. Please keep in mind that this thread will no longer be monitored by Intel. Thank you for your understanding.
Best Regards,
Duran J.
