Here is the thread i made which was unanswered but yet some volunteers came up with their ideas.
https://community.intel.com/t5/Intel-Arc-Discrete-Graphics/IGCC-Error/m-p/1737929

Now i saw a guys answer telling me to check if the services were all available. As i mentioned in the previous thread (in the link) there were some missing. Now i question if those services are actually a must to have?

Hello CrilAR,

Thank you for raising this concern via Intel Communities.

To further assist you, I’ll need to gather a few details so I can provide the appropriate troubleshooting steps:

  • Are your graphics drivers fully updated?
  • Could you share a screenshot of the settings you adjusted?
  • Please provide a screenshot of the exact error message/code so I can review it properly.
  • Can you also share a screenshot of your in-game graphics settings?

Additionally, I would appreciate it if you could provide an Intel® System Support Utility (SSU) report so I can properly check your system configuration.

Additionally, to help us better understand your system configuration and provide more accurate support, we kindly request that you share the Intel® System Support Utility (SSU) logs from your device. These logs contain important hardware and software information that is essential for troubleshooting.

Please follow these steps:

  1. Download and run the Intel® SSU application.
  2. The tool will generate a text file containing your system information.
  3. You may refer to this guide for detailed steps: Help Guide for the Intel® System Support Utility
  4. Once completed, please attach the generated file in your reply.

Thanks for returning back to my call Mr.John,

Now the following answers to your questions are:

1. Yes, It is the latest version.
2. Of Course.
3. Okay.
4. Alright.

Now i will kindly put the SSU log and the pictures here. Just to remind, i have adjusted the settings yet this appeared when i tried to choose "Intel Optimized". I Have also tried to use these settings with PUBG and The Forest which didn't worked. Even though they were automatically detected by the IGCC.

Hello CrilAR,

Thank you for your patience. To further investigate the issue with the in-game filter, I would like to gather a few additional details. Kindly provide the information below:

  • Have you tried uninstalling the graphics driver using DDU and then reinstalling the latest driver in Safe Mode?
  • Is Resizable BAR (ReBAR) enabled in your system?
  • What is your monitor’s native resolution, and what resolution are you currently using in-game?
  • What is the wattage of your power supply unit (PSU)?
  • Could you please provide a short video demonstrating the exact issue with the filter?

Once I receive this information, I will be able to proceed further with the investigation.

I look forward to your response.

Hello John,

The following are answers to your questions;

1. Yes recently i was able to get into safe mode and DDU but it didn't worked. I didn't tried to apply filters in a older driver version just to let you know.
2. Yes the ReBar is enabled in my system.
3. My Monitor is a 200hz 1920x1080p monitor and the ingame resolution is the same as native. Putting on 165hz doesn't help. I haven't tried using a HDMI cable since it is connected to my pc with a DP 1.2 cable.
4. I do own a 550w 80+ plus power supply and even tho recommened for B580 is a 600w power supply 550w does just fine with a lot of systems and in fact i can even do overclock without a problem but i don't use overclock i just tried it. Undervolting isn't a fix too.
5. I Would like to but there's nothing. Since the filter does absolutely nothing i cannot demonstrate what the error is. But if you insist on seeing really no changes without a single difference on monitor yeah i could try.

One another question i have is, in the post i have mentioned there was this guy named CaNeRyBuRy23 told me to check if the following services are running;

  • Intel(R) Graphics Command Center Service

  • Intel(R) Graphics Driver Service

Now i do question if those are actually services are actually something that should be there in the Services. Should they?

Hello CrilAR,

Thank you for providing the information I requested. I will try to replicate the scenario in our laboratory to see if I experience the same issue.

Regarding your other question, you can download the Intel Graphics Command Center (IGCC) via the Microsoft Store. Newer Intel graphics use Intel Graphics Software (IGS), which becomes available when you update the driver. For the Intel Graphics Driver Service, you can verify it by opening IGS if you see a Performance tab, it means your system is running the Intel(R) Graphics Driver Service.

Alternatively, you can follow these steps to check:

  1. In the Search tab, type Services and open it.
  2. Scroll down and look for Intel(R) Graphics Driver Service.
  • If you do not find it, this means your system is not running the Intel(R) Graphics Driver Service.

Additionally, if possible, please provide a short video showing the issue for visual investigation purposes. This will help us better understand and troubleshoot the problem.

Thank you for your cooperation.

There is no Intel(R) Graphics Service existent in the services.msc

This is a list of everything associated to Intel(R);

Intel(R) Driver & Support Assistant
Intel(R) Driver & Support Assistant Updater
Intel(R) Graphics Firmware Update Service
Intel(R) SUR QC Software Asset Manager
Intel(R) System Usage Report Service SystemUsageReportSvc_QUEENCREEK
Intel(With a R in a circle) Graphics Software Service

And here is a proof nothing changes with the Sharpening setting also i tried with closing the game and tried to launch it again yet it didn't worked. Same goes for all filters.

Hello CrilAR,

Thank you for your patience while I investigated this issue. I attempted to reproduce the behavior you reported, and I was able to observe a slight change when the setting is enabled the image appears sharper when the feature is turned on.

Please note that you may need to restart the game each time you change this setting for the changes to properly take effect.

If the issue still persists after performing the troubleshooting steps provided, I recommend performing an operating system reset to ensure there are no software conflicts affecting the system.

Please let me know the results after trying these steps, and I will be happy to assist you further.

Hello John,

Firstly I appreciate your efforts on resolving this issue. But may i know which games you tried this sharpening on?

In DayZ i can't see a difference to be honest. Since this setting doesn't really look like it is Dx11 or Dx9 supported it looks more like it is game supported. What made me believe in this is the fact the setting is dependant on Game to game and not available in the Global settings. I must inform i have just performed a clean system reset and there are just few things i downloaded. This is the list of "everything" i downloaded since (like everything maybe associated maybe not even relatable with the issue);

OperaGX
Chrome
Discord(didn't touched any setting except hardware acceleration it is off)
Medibang Pro(just an art program)
Wo MIC
OBS(Haven't recorded anything yet)
Steam
DayZ
CapframeX
MSI Afterburner
Rivatuner
IGS and IGCC

If there is a problem with the software side these are all i have. On the system side i have HAGS on by default but turning it off didn't had any changes game mode i just turned on and no Hdr effects or anything visual. I Thought maybe the IGS is the problem but not quite sure. I Haven't tried IGS if you tried the sharpening filter with IGS then i think it shouldn't be a problem. But again what might be causing this service issue? And forgot to mention i tried to start the game on fullscreen or windowed or clicking while trying to turn it off or not touching at all, the list keeps going but i already tried to start game in various ways. I also tried to clean the cache too before the reset but that didn't helped too.

There's actually a very slight difference between but that difference alone doesn't improve the visual quality itself. The difference only seems to effect the small film grain on game. Just very small difference between the images. Not what's shown on the Intel Graphics Command Center. Both in Amd and Nvidia when you turn on the sharpening filter even to %10 there's more difference. If i could've potentially used ReShade with no risk i could've but it is risky. I Think Sharpening has to be improved because the Sharpening filter can be barely noticed with what you're sending me Mr.John. But still Intel has to improve the quality even just because what is has promised to us with the sharpening filters demonstriation on IGCC. Could that be fixed?

Hello CrilAR,

Thank you for providing detailed feedback regarding the small difference in visual quality. I understand that the result may not fully match the graphics you were expecting. With that in mind, please allow me some time to review this internally.

Hello CrilAR,

Thank you for your patience. For further investigation, I would like to clarify a few details regarding your concern. Kindly confirm the following:

  • Are you focusing on the issue where the Intel Graphics Command Center (IGCC) settings are not applying correctly?
  • Or are you focusing on concerns related to system services?

Once you confirm which issue you would like us to focus on, I will proceed accordingly, as we can only support one concern per thread.

Well services is just another concern and i would like to bring up IGCC settings are not applying correctly. Which is a concern because IGS didn't worked as well. But i think these 2 issues are somehow connected they're maybe not. Just keep that in mind. I Would like to focus on IGCC filters since the IGS settings are removed i can only ask them to be fixed through IGCC so they can maybe added back to IGS. I Would like to focus on IGCC not applying correctly.

Hello CrilAR,

Thank you for confirming that you would like to focus on the issue with Intel Graphics Command Center (IGCC) settings not applying correctly.

Please note that I will be using PUBG as the reference game for testing and replication. I will proceed with attempting to reproduce the issue on my end and will provide you with an update once the replication is complete.

I'm all fine with PUBG being the reference game but i want to mention that PUBG itself has an in-game Sharpening filter in the settings. Just saying but the difference between IGCC Sharpening on or off would be more visible if the issue can be adressed and fixed. Wishing you the best of luck.
