I'm currently using an Intel Arc A750 and I've been getting these weird glitches and artifacts on glasses and god rays on The Precinct like the image attached below. Is there any solution to this?

Hi, Sdt29.

Thank you for posting in our Community. I appreciate your detailed feedback regarding the visual artifacts you're encountering in The Precinct while using the Intel® Arc™ A750 Graphics Card. I viewed the image you attached here and understand how distracting such graphical glitches, especially on reflective surfaces like glass and god rays, can be. These issues may stem from driver compatibility, game-specific rendering conflicts, or API-related optimizations. Let me help you with that.

To proceed with a proper investigation, we’d appreciate your input on a few additional technical details:

  • Are you running The Precinct on Steam, Epic Games, or another platform?
  • Is the game fully updated to the latest patch?
  • Are you using DirectX 12, Vulkan, or another API within the game settings?
  • What resolution and graphical preset are you using? (Low, Medium, High, Ultra)
  • Are the artifacts consistent, or do they only occur in certain areas or after specific triggers?

I'd like to delve deeper and verify specifics like the graphics models, precise driver versions, and any system errors. Utilizing the Intel SSU tool will enable me to collect detailed information about your system setup, which could aid in identifying the underlying cause of this issue. For your privacy and security, I have already sent you an email to collect the SSU reports. Once I receive the logs, I can investigate further and provide better assistance. Additionally, if you've already taken any steps to resolve this issue before reaching out, please share those details with me so I can avoid repeating any unnecessary actions.

Have a nice day!

1. I'm running the game on steam.
2. Yes
3. I'm not sure. Most probably it is using DX11. There are no setting to configure said API.
4. 1080p with Ultra settings. The issue Persists on all type of settings.
5. These occur in every area. The indoors are kind of tolerable but the outdoors are full of said glitches.

If you mail me, I can send you the SSU report. Thanks!

I do not know if your issue has been resolved but i had the same problem too playing this game. I am using arc a770 gpu. I have resolved this issue by forcing the game into using vulkan API instead of directx11. The green/yellow light is still there in the edge of the objects but does not flicker to keep you distracting. Overall very playable and sometime you will not even notice.

I installed the latest release of doitsujin/dxvk (There are several youtube videos on how to use this) from github. Then pasted them in the game file of Precinct. Launched the game as usual and set the anti-aliasing to TAA in the graphics option (The issue persists with other anti-aliasing options). Max settings not any major issue has been popped up after around my 4/6 hours of gameplay.

Hope this helps.

Hello, Sdt29.

Thank you for the detailed information. It’s clear that the graphical glitches persist regardless of settings, resolution, or environment, and are most prominent in outdoor areas. Since you're running the game via Steam and it’s likely using DirectX 11 (without configurable API options), this could point to a driver, compatibility, or hardware-level issue.

To proceed efficiently, I have sent you an email regarding the SSU (System Support Utility) report as mentioned. This will allow us to analyze your system configuration in more depth and provide targeted troubleshooting steps.
