Hi AsterCrash,
Thank you for posting in our Community. Sounds like a pretty noticeable drop, especially since your system was previously holding a stable 120 FPS. I understand it is when performance suddenly dips like that, particularly in a game you know was running smoothly before. From what you described (FPS drop + GPU not responding as expected in RivaTuner), I want to narrow down whether this is related to game-side changes, driver behavior, background load, or GPU throttling/limits. To help isolate this properly, I’d like to ask a few targeted questions:
- Does the performance drop affect other games as well, or only Arknights Endfield?
- In RivaTuner, what GPU usage are you seeing: high usage (~90–100%) or unusually low usage?
- Did this FPS drop start after a specific update (game patch, Windows update, or driver update)?
- If you've performed any other tests, please provide the details so we can avoid going over the same steps again.
-
To start with, the most important check: could you confirm your current in-game graphics settings in Arknights Endfield (especially resolution, quality preset, V-Sync, FPS limit, and any dynamic resolution or upscaling options)?
We’ll get this stabilized. This kind of sudden drop usually has a clear root cause once I isolate it properly.
Have a nice day!

In this case, only in Arknight's Endfield.
In RivaTuner it's around 50%.
I can't say for sure because I haven't played the game in a while.
Yes, there's a CapFrameX file in the RAR archive.
Yes, I reinstalled the drivers via DDU, I play in 1080p, very high preset because it was running at 80% GPU usage, V-Sync off, limited to 120fps by the game itself and without upscaling.
And here's my advice: this game is very popular and deserves to have Intel's technologies implemented.
Hi AsterCrash,
Thank you for the detailed information and for sharing the CapFrameX file along with the testing results. I also appreciate you confirming the settings used, including the DDU driver reinstallation, 1080p resolution, very high preset configuration, FPS cap, and upscaling settings. This information is very helpful for the investigation. I also appreciate your feedback regarding Arknights: Endfield and your suggestion about implementing Intel technologies support for the game. Feedback like this is valuable and helps provide additional insight into user experience and game optimization expectations.
At this time, I’ll need to conduct additional research regarding the behavior you are observing specifically in this title. Once I have more information or updates related to this matter, I will post them here in this thread.
Have a nice day!
