AMT installation problems

Customer question:

How do I activate Intel AMT on my Lenovo T61 model 7658-15U? At log on I get a popup message saying AMT is disabled on this computer. I contacted IBM but they can help me. Is there something special I need to do?

Hi There,

From your question, it seems like the device is not provisioned and that is the reason the pop-up mentions about AMT being disabled. In order for you to use AMT, you need to provision it in either SMB or enterprise mode. Is your intent to use AMT or are you just curious about the message in the pop-up?
