Dear Intel team,

I am trying to follow the Intel® Silicon View Technology (SVT) Direct Connect Interface (DCI) Quickstart Guide:
“Direct Connect Interface Closed-Chassis Adapter Quickstart Guide, Rev 8”
Section 2.2 Installing DAL on the Host Machine.

However, the ITPII Software Download link mentioned in Step 1 is not accessible.

I cannot open the download page, so I am unable to install DAL.

Could you please provide:
• A working download link for the DAL software
or
• Instructions on how to obtain access

I’d start by checking whether the older SVT/DAL software is still hosted through Intel’s current support or download resources, since the original download path may no longer be active.

If the original link is dead, it would probably be worth checking the archived documentation or contacting Intel support with the exact DAL version and the “Direct Connect Interface Closed-Chassis Adapter Quickstart Guide, Rev 8” reference. That should make it easier for them to identify the correct software package or access requirements.

Since this is an older setup, I’d also avoid downloading a random copy of the DAL software from a third-party site unless you can verify the source and version. Matching the software version to the guide and hardware would be important here.
