Writing to the AMT event log

Hi,

Is it possible for software agents running on AMT machines to add custom events to the AMT event log?

As far as I understand it, the event log is basically an array of PET messages that have matched at least one of a set of filter entries. The PET messages have enough extensibility that it should be possible to create custom events (using an OEM sensor type for example).

Hi Tim,

Software agents are not allowed to add events to AMT event log. The agents can register for alertsof the events logged by AMT.
