Edge: 'createDataChannel' is not supported

On Edge woogeen.sdk.js throws the following exception

ERROR: Failed to create SendDataChannel, exception: Object doesn't support property or method 'createDataChannel'

This happens when woogeen tries to execute RTCPeerconnection.createDataChannel. I found out that this method isn't supported under Edge. Are there any plans to add a polyfill for Edge to solve this problem or is there already a solution?
