Since a clean install of Window 10 I have been using IDP instead of Anaconda.  The first install was IDP 2018 Update 1.  Since yesterday, upgrading to Update 2, i get this error running conda update conda or any conda command for that matter.

C:\Users\juank>conda update conda

Juan,

I guess you are trying to update before activating an environment, i.e., you don't have an activated environment.
