How to pause an object (label) in CVAT during Trackable MIL. What if I don't have to track an object from some frames.

Hi nit29sin,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

For your information, you can use the 'Draw a new rectangle' option which will not track the stationary object for some portion of the frames.

Once you're satisfied with the label of the stationary object, you can continue using the 'TrackerMIL' for the rest of your frames where the object is moving.

After annotating all of the desired frames, you can then merge all of the annotations using the 'Merge' option.

Here are the steps and image examples:

Step 1: Use 'TrackerMIL' for the moving object.

Step 2: Use 'Draw a new rectangle' for the stationary object.

Step 3: Use 'TrackerMIL' once the object starts moving again.

Step 4: Click the 'Merge shapes/tracks' option and click on any of the rectangles to combine all the annotation tracks into one.

Refer to this CVAT Documentation for further information regarding the Track mode(basics) and Merge function.
