Hello,

Movidius NC SDK is intended to work on x86_64 machine running Ubuntu 16.04.

Should be noted also that using Neural Compute Stick on virtual machines is not recommended for at least two reasons:

  1. USB connection under VM most probably will cause problems.
  2.

  3. Running performance will be lowered significantly.
  4.

  1. A port to CentOS 7 most likely won't be difficult as long as your GPU is supported by the GPU vendor. But it _is_ an effort and somebody needs to pay the people doing the port.
  2.

  3. As long as you have two ways to connect to your monitor, there are ways to access the GPU inside a QEMU/KVM virtual machine. Again, effort and payment for the effort.
  4.

  5. USB access inside the VM shouldn't be an issue on QEMU/KVM systems. VirtualBox is another story; there's a licensing issue for some folks.
  6.

Bottom line: it can be done but it will cost you.
