Dear Srivastava, Mashrin,

As stated in the Linux Installation Guide the following Operating Systems are officially supported:

Operating Systems

Ubuntu 16.04.x long-term support (LTS), 64-bit: Minimum supported kernel is 4.14

CentOS 7.4, 64-bit (for target only)

Yocto Project Poky Jethro v2.0.3, 64-bit (for target only and requires modifications)

So most likely OpenVino won't work on an Alpine Linux base but you can certainly try it and see what happens. Since Alpine is based upon the lightweight BusyBox I doubt it will work but it's worth a try. You can certainly attempt to port it (in case it doesn't work) and make a pull request to https://github.com/opencv/dldt

Thanks !

Shubha
