Hello, I would like some help from you, if possible, even a paid service. I need to extract the Firmware from an Intel MA2155. Is this possible?
I want to do this because I work with some equipment where this Chip burns a lot. So, we need to buy new Chips to use them, but there is the issue of firmware. I want to extract this firmware from a good Chip and learn how to flash it on a new Chip.
Thank you!

Hi DrLov,
The firmware included in OpenVINO releases (2019_R2) is still compatible with Intel® Movidius™ Neural Compute Stick, which uses the Intel® Movidius™ Myriad™ 2 VPU. If this is what you are looking for, you can get the firmware from the OpenVINO release (check this article for more information).
For other products using Intel® Movidius™ Myriad™ Myriad 2 VPU, the firmware is custom developed by the company that made the product. Intel only provides the SDK and does not have access to the firmware produced using the SDK. Extracting the firmware, again, its dependent on the product. We suspect most devices are protected against this.
So, if your company made the product you should already have the firmware. If this is not the case, we suggest to contact the company that made the product. Hope this helps.
Regards,
Aznie
