Need list of supported camera's (RTSP generated) and support to integrate Customer API as module/lib

1. Customer wants to buy a camera that can generate RTSP stream for the OpenVINO Application. Which camera model would work well with OpenVINO? Shall we suggest Hikvision IP?

2. During event detection, Customer is to develop an adaptor or module based on their service API, where OpenVINO will trigger a request to their platform to seek a change – Say “Change in Bandwidth” or Seek a Better QOS Profile from the “Network Provider”. Their platform will connect Southbound to the Network Provider. The Northbound is towards Video Server / OpenVINO Platform.

Customer needs to know – which module of OpenVINO to be used / Are they need to develop this feature / any OpenVINO plugin available to connect to their system?

Hi Kanchana,

Thanks for reaching out.

First of all, we don’t have a list of RTSP cameras to recommend for you. However, to use the RTSP camera, make sure to input the video with RTSP camera (URL starting with rtsp://) or other streaming source (ex URL starting with `http:// <http://>`__) in your command line parameter.

Second, according to your application requirement, you probably need to develop the feature on your own. We have Real Time Stream Analysis Demo for your reference.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Aznie
