Running OpenVINO on RHEL 8

Hi!

My company is currently migrating to RHEL8 based OS for production servers (Oracle Linux 8), so we are looking towards usage of models accelerated with OpenVINO. Is RHEL8 supported in any way and is it possible to run OpenVINO on it?

Would appreciate any help or advice!

Hello Alexey,

Unfortunately, there is currently no support for RHEL in OpenVINO and Intel has not validated it on RHEL. Therefore, we cannot comment to what extent OpenVINO will work on RHEL. Also, we cannot comment on future roadmaps so we cannot predict if OpenVINO will ever be supported on RHEL.

Hi,

You can get OpenVINO Red Hat* UBI-based image on  Quay.io*and Red Hat* Ecosystem Catalog Registries.
