make install error 131

I am trying to install ncsdk, and got to clone it adequately on my virtual machine (running on a Macbook Pro). When I issue the "make install" command, I get an error 131. The attached image shows the error.

Can anyone please advise me on what I am doing wrong an/or on what should I do to make it work?
