I see my posts are being looked at,
and I see Steve Lionel and Les_Neilson have exchanged, in 2006, some posts on DlgSetCtrlEventHandler
but I get no replies or comments.
Has no one actually used this routine to handle ActiveX events, do I seem to know what I'm doing in spite of my problems, or have I disrespected someone?
I have submitted this to Intel Premier Support, it's issue #513482, and got some exchanges there, but only with a lot of waiting. I could really use something better on theDlgSetCtrlEventHandlerroutine beyond what is in the documentation. I'm running out of time here, as this needs to be working in another month.
It turns out I was mistaken about the getting rid of the Assertion Failed by updating the Fortran COM module, I actually reverted the OCX and DLL files. This was enough to see if I actually go the callback to work, which it didn't. I actually got the ActiveX to attempt to issue the event, but it crashed with a corrupt stack, so it looks like I don't have my event handler properly connected to the event. Also, I apparently have a separate problem with the updated OCX and DLL files for the ActiveX object, or perhaps not.
