We have Fortran V9.0 purchased and registered both as evaluation copy and purchased copy. We have NEVER received from Intel an ID nor a password. I am using an old access to this Forum and had difficulty even finding a page where "NEW POSTING" was accepted!!! (e.g. Migration from DVF has closed down).
We need to be able to register for Premium support.
I have already sent in a precise problem description, been told we were NOT registered, and now Intel has now closed down the mailbox! See message below!
"Thank you for your email.? Your support question is important to us.? Unfortunately, our email address is being overrun with spam and we need to shut it down.? In its place we have created a web form located at https://registrationcenter.intel.com/support/. ? Please submit your issue to this web form.? We are no longer monitoring this mailbox."
Any attempt to get to THAT quoted site sends us an adobe-based "default" file or "submitissue.aspx" file also with an internal HTML error message. We have tried usng Internet explorer and Netscape even though we prefer OPERA - (unaccepted for https sites)
We canot get anywhere with that site using my ID and login which gets me to this one. I haven't had any other ID/passwords sent to us, although we did get a file "something .lic" sent us for the evauation copy, but where to put it is unknown.
When I FINALLY find or are told how to get through to Intel we want information on fixes to serial port "SPORT ROUTINES" or any other way of reading/writing to a serial port on NT and XP platforms. We have 60 Fortran programs with clients running perfectly OK since 1972 in various incarnations till early 2005 when JUST ONE won't work any more with NT or XP platforms, even as a WINDOWS-compiled module.
Really shaken by this lack of access - even our usual software retailer is worried!

Terence,
I'm sorry to hear that you're having difficulty registering. Please send me e-mail at steve.lionel at intel.com and include your purchased license serial number. I'll look into it for you.
I gather that your application is using DOS-style port access. That won't work in NT/XP, as you have found. The SPORT routines are available - we know of no open issues with them.
